Thomas believes that basically anything not explicitly in the constitution should be left to the states. Including those concepts. He is the only one on the court with this very considerably significant opinion.

Indeed, I think everyone has missed that Thomas was the only one who brought up reviewing Obergefell. The majority and all of the other Justices' concurrences did not mention it at all to my knowledge.

Thomas has been writing his own separate concurrences that no one joins him on for decades. He has his own custom line of jurisprudence and precedent and I'm not sure how relevant any of it has been to other justices' opinions.

Currency inflation is only a problem in countries that decided to flood their economies with enormous amounts of debt-backed funny money. Trump, Biden, and Obama all bear responsibility for that in the US, as they all pursued, or endorsed, similar "quantitative easing" policies (aka money printer go BRRR) - but inflation is definitely not a "world-wide" problem, except for those parts of the world that debased their currencies for short-term political ends.

Currency inflation has sort of been like a political hot potato issue in the last 15 years in the USA. No administration wanted to really address it because raising interest rates could per say cause hiccups in the economy. The economic situation the country is in now doesn't exactly happen over night and the way things are going now it looks like Biden will be saddled with the consequences of not addressing the problem before it got out of control. Personally I think the Biden administration will be the one to be blamed for the problems in regards to currency inflation regardless if it played a major role in it getting to this point or not.

I am a little skeptical of Trump when it comes to dealing with the economy due to his performance with it the last time he was president. He would always claim the economy is the "best in American history" while at the same time (completely ignoring raising the budget deficit because lets face it every president does that at this point) he would lower interest rates. Obviously rates were lowered and tons of printed money flowed into the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 but prior to that in 2018 when federal interest rates were raised to try and stop inflation, Trump protested this, and for whatever reason the rate went down in 2019. With that in mind I would say there is a good chance another economy under the direction of Donald Trump would be nice but also on borrowed time. Another bubble could possibly created that could be good in the short term but would ultimately either pop when Donald Trump leaves office again or down the line when the Federal Reserve is forced to do something about it and raises interest rates hard which can easily create an economic depression.
