Do they learn about american politcs from late night propaganda shows and the like?
Funny that, that's mostly how it is in Brazil.
All the news outlets made it sound like abortion was banned forever all across the nation. Since we are stupid and journos are disingenuous subhumans, they ran with it for narrative purposes.

if sex is for reproduction, why does it feel good?
To make you want to reproduce a lot. This was a good thing when most of your kids didn't live to see their first birthday but you had to keep the tribe above replacement levels. Like eating fat and sugar, it's something the modern world has turned upside down. Civilization was a mistake.

A direct democracy is easier to understand than a decentralized government.
Yes, but it's more the mindset alot of Euros don't and sometimes can't understand that America is unique in that it's founding documents are how the government is restricted on how to act and conduct itself, not the people it governs.

Yes. Imagine talking to someone, even in the US, who only learned about issues of the land through late night Comedy Central stuck in the time slot where you want the show to die like the tonight show with black South African man and taking their word about what’s going on in the US like gospel.

It’s amazing with how much Euros obsess over our big mutt cocks, without charging us rent, they fail to understand the whole premise of our government is to not be the gay authoritarian shit hole ran by a family of Reddit mod minded individuals like they’re homeland though the Reddit mod minded are always inclined to seize power and always find a way to do so then run everything into the ground because Reddit mod mentality

Probably why these countries who use this system of government are incredibly stable and affluent as well, Switzerland being the biggest (and one of the few) examples of one, because of how the cantons are essentially large communities of people living in peace making a direct impact in how they want their community to be.

However it wouldn't work in very large and diverse countries such as lets say, Brazil, China, Nigeria, and the Land of the Free as you would simply have far too many of these self-governing areas that are run by ignorant uneducated people and don't care about the well-being of others.

don't care about the well-being of others.
The whole point of federalism is to distribute power among smaller governing bodies that are all looking out for their own interests before the interests of others and will jealously guard their own authority and prevent it from being centralized.

That's a feature to prevent tyranny, not a bug because we're too mean and selfish for something "better".

According to "direct democracy" logic, Americans should be able to vote in Switzerland's elections/referendums.

"But they live in a different country!"

Yes, and people from San fransisco live in a different state.

He was so close yet just went full retard, they understood that American size and diverse nature made such a system impossible, but couldn't fully grasp that the American system was set up in response to that.

Hold your horses there sunny. Globohomo hasn’t fully dissolved international borders yet

I genuinely want to know how men would react to a sex strike. Would they applaud women for no longer being reckless baby murderers? Or will they rape and kill us for no longer being their willing whores?
I hate to break it to you fam, but women actually enjoy sex too.
Any sex strike would just have men who are real thirsty go for the women who aren't on strike, of which there would be many.

To be more explicit, the US is composed of several states, and a federal government. The powers of government are divided up between them. Those powers not delegated to the federal government, nor prohibited to the states, by the constitution, belong to the states. This is implicit but also made explicit by the 10th amendment. Those powers that affect all of the states, such as commerce, are supposed to be given to the federal government. All others are for the states.

For example, say its WW2. Nevada, even though its not California, has an interest in California not being invaded by the Japanese. Because if they were Nevada would probably be next. Therefore waging war, is a power given to the federal government. States do not have that power.
