What a lot of people in the anglosphere don't seem to understand is that in order for socialist political policies to be implemented in a country, the existing culture there has to be more collectivist and conformist. They fail to pass in aggressively individualistic countries like the U.S. and U.K., where people care more about individuality and personal expediency than they do about the greater good.
This is why Scandinavian countries have seen a rise in populist rhetoric despite being hailed as liberal utopias by American politicians. Collectivism and diversity rarely jibe in entities as large as countries, and you're seeing that play out as refugees from Syria and Afghanistan relocate to Scandinavia.

One thing I've been seeing in the wake of Roe being overturned is feminists arguing that banning abortions would only ban safe, legal abortions. Women who would want to get an abortion would need to do it themselves with incredibly unreliable and dangerous practices that could kill them. This is obviously framed as a bad thing. TRAs say the same thing when they talk about legislature to ban HRT for minors, but instead they frame it as a good thing. Just something to ponder on.
