Wow. She's dumber than i thought. At this point she should seriously consider quitting hololive, going full time as demondice, becoming a vtuber as demondice and joining trash taste as a new host, seriously its better suited for her. Because if her stupidity eventually ends up causing something to happen to gura.

Awhile back I think i remember her saying at first she joined hololive as a joke, not expecting to actually get in. I don't think that thought process ever left her, and eventually its gonna come back to bite her in the ass.

I just... how does anyone care this much about what these people do? Oh no she did something inconsiderate off-stream oh noooo. I would be like "why are you telling me this" if this was something that happened between my close friends, let alone a couple of internet entertainers. There's no Nobel prize for attempted chemistry, unless someone gets murdered or fired I don't see why I should give a shit.

The party is whatever. A classic younger sibling shithead move. It's Calli's lack of concern for other people's Opsec that caught me off guard. If Calli is fine with people knowing who she is, that's her prerogative. The thing that gets me is that Gura, Ina and Ame have more or less scrubbed themselves off the internet the best that they can and Kiara has done well at placing a barrier between Keeki and Kiara. All 4 of them have indicated they want to keep a separation between their lives. Even if no one leaks a bunch of new pictures it's just telling of Mori's respect to others in her position.

Gura being dropped in a party unprompted is dubious to sperg over, but I do think Calli leaking both the location and means to access roommates unthinkingly to a bunch of presumably unknown party-goers is certainly a problem that would need to be addressed. There are security concerns there beyond just /vt/ wanting to coddle their womanchild oshi.

Also while Gura is an adult - and maybe I'm just being autistic here - but I do feel that leaving your female co-worker unattended among intoxicated strangers to be irresponsible. Particularly with Calli's insinuations about Gura's behaviour. Like, what else are people supposed to read that as meaning? It's unnecessary and if Gura's relationship with Calli changes (or is just perceived to change) people will be bringing this up for years.

This is my biggest issue with this situtation. It's obvious Gura wants to be low-key along with the others, to the point that Kiara was talking about how she didn't want to say too much during her stream a few days ago 'because other people care more about their privacy than I do'.

I really don't know why Mori would even bring this situation up on stream given that this could have all stayed internal and everyone would have been none the wiser. The worst case that would have come out of that would have been Gura privatly distancing herself from Mori if she was actually upset about it, but now we have a breeding groubd for rrats.

People seem to forget that there's a reason Gura is so paranoid and wants to be as private as possible. She even goes as far as to black out the screen before accessing the options menu of a game. Just in case.

People weren't happy just finding out who she was. They dug into her family. They found their facebooks, names, faces, locations, pictures of their home. Some faggot even messaged her brother on FB about her.

This whole thing prompted a week long break around the time she debuted to handle family stuff. Then you add in the absolute lunatics like the guy who was writing love poems to her on Twitter or the ones super chatting the creepiest shit you've ever read. If these schizos were the ones to find her, she'd be dead in a dumpster by weeks end. She's doing the right thing by staying as anonymous as humanly possible.

The whole "she's an adult and could have said no" shit is autistic too. You know damn well how long they've been waiting to meet up. Do you really think she'd turn her down after literal years? She chose her friend over her own opsec there. It actually says a lot about the little shark.

Probably just me but I find it kind of weird that they monetize her under this circumstances. Last time they did this the merch was probably already ready but this time it's a deliberate decision from them.

To get back to the more signifikant things today: Laplus 3D reveal starting in a few minutes, hopefully the VOD stays up until I can watch it later this day.

The thing I probably like most about Gura is that she's become the biggest VTuber in the world while having almost zero social media presence and really caring about her privacy. She does the absolute bare minimum on Twitter and only does things outside of her little bubble if it's forced by the company (anyone remember UMISEA?). Sure, she may have had some spillover between her previous persona and this one but outside of a few easter eggs she just doesn't acknowledge it. I think it speaks to how great of an entertainer she is because that's all there is.

I don't think Gura cares about the party or the fact Calli talked about it. Calli should obviously have never talked about it on stream because it's dumb but still.

Laplus' shtick is to do things differently, and I was not disappointed. In fact her program gave me whiplash lol. Will need clips to fully appreciate the game segments. She closed with a pre-recorded rendition of her original - with her own choreography. Also ended right on time unlike most of her genmates.
