I've never thought about it but I can't think of a black person who has made more history in the past 50 years than Clarence Thomas. Except maybe George Floyd. We should just call it Clarence Month.
Only thing that would make it better if Obama was forced to give up his Nobel peace prize to Thomas, who actually deserves it.

Yeah, dudes are lining up around the block to impregnate that.

SO MUCH WIN!

SCOTUS is really on a roll, and I can’t wait to hear lunatic lefties seethe about how this means that the Christian Taliban is right around the corner.
While I do actually agree with this ruling (as long as he doesn't force the players to pray, who gives a shit?), when you guys are celebrating this stuff and still denying being Christian fundies, it's pretty hilarious to see how much you're lying about the latter

These kind of policies existed since Augustan times. He had medals and honors and tax breaks for productive families.

Also I find trigger laws kind of unconstitutional and against the spirit of the constitution in general. Lawmaking is supposed to be slow as possible by design. The government shouldn't be able to rapidly pass laws whenever it wants to. Makes tyranny easier. Trigger laws are a loophole to that. If these states want to ban abortions, the current legislature should bring that to the floor and try to pass it.
Oh I know but it wouldn't be KiwiFarms if someone didn't find a way to bring the conversation back to Hitler. Just doing my part.

What's wrong with celebrating a man being allowed to practice his religion without being persecuted by an oppressive government? Whether he's Christian, Jewish, or Muslim, it's a victory for everyone who isn't a godless NPC.

Do religions have the right to deny a person to be married based on their beliefs yes.

Does the state, no.
But most laws originate from some sort of moral assessment (eg theft and murder, age of consent laws,). The state has a legitimate interest in protecting families, and it certainly should have an interest in pro natalism.
If you create some sort of mechanism whereby gay couples can leave an estate to the survivor, have medical rights when one is in a hospital etc, there should be no equal protection issues. To be flippant about it, since marriage is between a man and a woman, a gay air lesbian can always still marry someone of the opposite sex (just like everyone else).
It is unfortunately a moot issue because the genie is out of the bottle, but mark my words gay marriage and the normalization of LGBTQ-YUCK will unleash the law of unintended consequences in the worst way since single moms became mainstream. Hear me now and believe me later.

Step up your game old man

I don't read your posts with the expectation of seeing such weak shit, I come for the 24 inch pythons running wild with the power of the millions and millions of salty tears

I'm thinking a lot of people out in the real world are sick of hearing about sex sex sex and gender identities 24/7. In that way, the repeal seems like a refreshing direction. In an individual experience, I get why this is distressing, but I can also see why many people welcome it during the era of 24/7/365 "Pride" and "Kink Positivity!"

Personally, too much sexuality rubbed in my face-- uninvited-- has the opposite effect on me from what is intended. It actually makes me find the human body and sexuality repulsive. It's not like the benign nudity one sees in ancient sculpture, or if someone's in a shower room changing their clothes-- it's like in-your-face porn-inspired-self obsessed "social justice" bullshit. You can practically smell the yeast infections and smegma through the screen on social media. I don't find putting a magnifying glass up to sex as appealing. I don't need to see every asshole hair, thank you.

It's actually a GOOD thing to suppress sexual impulses at times, because that energy can then be channelled into glorious things. Consider all the great artwork and music that was created during the time periods when various cultures had strict rules regarding sexual behavior and expression. Men with a creative sense had to use their capabilities to attract someone (outside showcasing their own bodily functions and sexual prowess)-- they channeled that creativity into creative trades, literature, architecture, painting, music, hobbies, philosophy. While acquiring wealth was one goal, it's not hard to imagine attracting women with a display of their skill wasn't another goal. Women developed creative abilities in the arts, learning language, and in terms of practical necessities, food cultivation and creation, creating clothing, weaving, embroidery, education in plant-based medicine. It might sound ludicrous, but those things are not easily "done from scratch" and require the ability to plan for the future, set priorities, etc..

My opinion... Flopping on one's back, getting a hard on, or sticking one's ass in the air doesn't require any kind of skill. Throughout much of history, people who did that excessively were considered burdens on society, brutish, cheap, as useless people.

There's no real magnetic energy there when you're with someone who feels entitled to a hump with you simply because they exist. Could be my lizard brain telling me "don't fuck a moron, you don't want stupid offspring", but who knows.
I thought I was the only one. Just the constant hearing of sex, fucking, kinks, abortions, and "my body my choice" has reinforced my thought that there is nothing wrong with not having sex. Actually, the value of sex has been vastly degraded in recent years to the point of it being nothing more than a commodity.

Those trigger laws were passed to placate the pro-life groups, nobody actually expected Roe to be overturned in their lifetimes. I fully expect provisions to be added soon for rape/incest to any that lack them.
Yeah, having those provisions in place is important as it robs the leftist idiots from their biggest talking point, despite making up maybe 5% of all abortion procedures.
Every single state trigger law accounts for health of the mother. Most have a rape or incest exception.
What @Puff said. See below for more deets.
I haven't actually seen the auto-trigger state laws discussed. There are links on the feature post, but no one's going to click that shit. This thread just turned into abortion reee-ing.
Here they are so the obese feminists can relax a little bit.

So there you go. You can shove the 'omg so many women r going to dieeeee' line because it's bullshit. As of writing this post, in all 50 states of America, it is legal for a woman to get an abortion if her life is in danger.

The Court already denied certiorari for this case. Thomas wrote an impassioned dissent, but that doesn't change anything. Sullivan isn't going away any time soon.
You don't want it to unless you want this site to die, too. Someone would say this site is "media" by some loophole and the forum you can drop the n word on will be gone
