Wouldn't Rushia pretty much make Cover block the girls from playing the game, though? From what I've read here I'm guessing you unlock the girls in gacha, so unless she were like a code-based unlockable, that seems like an uncontrollable chance of a yab.

It's just a fan game so the dev can do anything they want with it, and I'm sure the majority of fans will prefer her to be there. If management is dumb enough to ban Holomem from playing the widely popular and huge love letter game over that one specific reason, it would glow like spotlight in Nevada desert.

On totally unrelated note, Shiranui is having a collab telling the story of their mountain hiking trip. And [SERIOUS], Flare start by admit that they were [LYING] about the whole thing. Instead of an unnamed woods in the middle of nowhere, they actually been to Universal Studio Japan for several day and night living the live of luxury.

The whole thing is pretty elaborate. They make clip saying how tired they are from hiking. Suisei tweet several time that she get sunburnt. High level of intentional opsec because they outright said it's to avoid stalking.

Calli doesn't have 'fuck you' money. Is she well-off, yeah probably. But most of her money gets taken by taxes. She has to pay income tax to both Japan and the US. Youtube gets a cut, Cover gets a cut, Japan gets a cut, and the US gets a cut.

The character of Rushia is entirely owned by Cover Corporation. Mikeneko has no say in that matter. I doubt Cover would interfere with the game; the devs are strictly following Cover's usage rules.

(I mostly watch holoJP, so all what I'm talking is about holojp, don't know about the other)

I'm just 6 months watching hololive and this is what I'm feel. I feel like the holomem is talking about their interaction with other holomem too much. And it's feel too much that it seems like they're trying to make it a selling point. In the first I don't really mind but overtime it just feel to frequent that I feel so bored with it. And when the member is having holiday/vacation together they'll definitely prepare for a stream to do after talk about it. I mean it is really worth a stream? I don't really mind if the stream is about herself, but when the stream is a holiday with other holomem I don't quite like it. I mean, I just care about you, not the other members... What do you guys think?

Cover can't use the image of Rushia in promotional material for obvious reasons now but they haven't banned the girls from speaking of her. Even after the goodbye video made by her gen mates I remember having seen clips where some of the mems made comments or remarks about the green haired necromancer and so on

Seeing Holocure has given me a weird thought.

2hu has an extremely autistic fan base that makes mountains of content, to the point where ZUN could die tomorrow and the universe he made would be self-sustaining from the fans alone.
More and more fan works with Holos made me think about if a similar point could be reached with their characters, and how weird it would be if one or more stopped streaming.

Vtubers give me similar vibes to 2hu in the sense it's getting people to make more content and I love it. In an age of shitty tiktok videos and low effort reaction vids, people are still making fan animations, games, etc. But ZUN has additional reasons for his growth, mainly he is very liberal with people making 2hu content and monetizing it.

You could certainly draw a line to someone like Hatsune Miku. But I think the reaction to the Kizuna Ai voice actor thing made it clear the fanbase doesn't want that. Sometimes I wonder if there's a parallel world where vtuber culture is very different, the fans follow the corporations and switching out the VAs is routine. But I'd like to think that would have gone wrong sooner or later.

Doesn't it defeat the purpose if they say where they actually were? What if some turbo autist working security at universal has access to security cameras and will look through footage for hints? Usually I wouldn't say anything but Noel and Miko are known and Noel even has huge tits that aren't common in Japan, so you just play where's waldo booba edition. Now this all sounds beyond autism and more like schizophrenia, but given people have stalked idols through reflections in their eyes I would just say nothing. That said they still have much better opsec than people like Kiara and Calli.
