Not to mention that Republicans are trying to make it illegal to go to other states for abortions. Not to mention the cost of a procedure outside of their health insurance network; healthcare is expensive

So I'm seeing people mentioning how women should know when they're pregnant due to missed periods. Some fun facts:

1. Conception doesn't happen until 2 weeks into a pregnancy. Pregnancy is considered " started" on the first day of your last period.
2. Women miss periods for many reasons and sometimes no reason. Periods can be off by a week or two, some women just naturally have irregular periods.
3. So for states that have the 6 week ban, a woman may be pregnant for an entire month, which is 4 weeks, and not know it until the next missed period, which as stated above, can be missed for no reason or any reason, which makes it difficult for a woman to really know until it's too late.

There are literally other signs to let you know you’re pregnant. Boobs that hurt so bad you can’t touch them, vomiting/nausea, headaches, cramping without a period, a bad cold similar to a sinus infection, acid reflux.
You’d have to be an idiot to not know realize at least 6 weeks in that somethings not right with your body.

The reaction to Dobbs overturning Roe and Casey is instructive in many different ways.

First, as I have stated so many times before, most just do not understand or do not care about the legal and Constitutional issues. Wanda Sykes was on Colbert last night dlecaring that this decision allows "that red stuff in the middle" to dictate what NY and California etc can do.

Such comments are breathtaking in their ignorance and stupidity, even for a blackie black like Wanda Sykes who cannot or chooses not to speak proper English. And yet millions of mainstreamers slog that shit down from their trusted television network.

Most of the plebs are just ignorant, should not be allowed to vote but I refuse to believe that Hillary and Pocahontas do not understand how Roe and Casey were on sound ground logically and legally, and that all this does is open this contentious issue up to the people to decided. So we have ruling elites who are lying through their teeth to gin up this fervor for political power.

We even see it here on this very thread, with the Hulkster, raptor and other clowns writing post after post about why this is bad, but really all they are doing is pleading their case as to why they favor abortion as a policy matter. That is all fine and good but it still does not answer why--if people still believe in democracy (I don't but most still do)-these policy preferences cannot be decided democratically, instead of by judicial fiat?

Beyond that, the reaction from AOC and others where they want the feds to come in and open abortion clinics should further dash any hope those of us who dissent from their bug eyed lunacy will ever be left alone. I do not think a peaceful breakup of the United States would be possible because they would seeth that the other side does what it does, be it enforce its borders and entertain sane immigration policies, allow so called hate speech, have something different than the on demand, free for all abortion policies they demand.

They cannot be reasoned with, they will not let those they disagree with "live and let live," which they pretend is their creed. Almost no one sees this. Those who dissent from AOC and Chelsea Handler and these bugeyed lunatics are still playing patty cake. They still think they have a right to their opinion and that although they disagree, if they lose in an election, well shucks, better luck next time. Meanwhile the left is consolidating power in so many ways, including a long haul ballot stuffing scheme, normalizing ideas that jettison first amendment and free speech principles, as they have even captured the military and law enforcement. Babies are expensive so we need abortions, but inflation, paying more for gas, homes, and everything else is so progressive.
