If anything, this further enforces the notion that his pay pigs are complete NPCs that are physically incapable of self-reflection or critical thinking. Imagine being that brazen when called out on wrongdoing, you exercise the ban hammer rather than explain yourself, your reasoning, or simply apologize for bad takes... and your audience just cheers you on.
