Because he won't play any fighting games that take him out of his Street Fighter / Capcom safespace. Have you seen any of the types of long combos being done in DNF Duel? Dave cried like a little bitch and ragequit KOF over getting hit by some Vanessa combos, there's no way he'd be able to deal with this game.

The games training mode has demo combos that already take off 80-90% of a characters HP. Phil bitches the moment he gets hit with a combo that lasts longer than 5 hits. There is zero chance he'd ever even acknowledge the game.

Yeah. It's an "anime fighter." Phil prefers a game where he can play a character with extra health and a 360 throw move that does around 25% of the opponents HP. Why learn combo timings when you can pull off one move and take off a massive chunk of health?
