He's been at 1mil for like a decade. His subscriber count has effectively not changed in a decade. I think he's been losing about 7k a year.I didn't know this guy was still around, as even back in the day when I was into the edgy skeptic shit I couldn't watch his crap. He's at almost 1 million subscribers but gets 10-40k views a video.
I'm surprised he's still making videos. You get something like 4$ per 1,000 views, so even if he's averaging 40k views a video, which he isn't, he's only making something like 160$ a video. That would be fine if he was doing daily content, but he's not, and I doubt people will cycle back to listening to fat angry retards scream about trivial topics anytime soon. He's been at 1mil for like a decade. I remember in his old cringe compilation videos people would make he'd admit all his jobs his dad would get for him and he'd steal others work because he knew he could get away with it. Funny because his stuff was always recommended to me in the 2000s and he immediately turned me off of atheism even as a high school student. This man fell off, he sticks around cuz he prolly has no ability to do anything in real life tbh.
People seem to forget that back in the late 2000s when YouTube was still new that getting hundreds of thousands of views on your videos was a big deal. Only viral meme videos got millions of views back then.I remember in his old cringe compilation videos people would make he'd admit all his jobs his dad would get for him and he'd steal others work because he knew he could get away with it. The thing about youtube intellectuals is that they're usually not very smart. This man fell off, he sticks around cuz he prolly has no ability to do anything in real life tbh.
Somewhat of a similar experience for me, and I remember I was talking with a few friends and somehow we ended up talking about TJ briefly. The consensus was that most of us wanted to agree with him on topics like feminism but he always found the most retarded way to frame them so that it was impossible to agree with his braindead take on what would otherwise be an easy victory.I remember in his old cringe compilation videos people would make he'd admit all his jobs his dad would get for him and he'd steal others work because he knew he could get away with it. Short answer is that he's not making money from YouTube much anymore. From about 2016 onwards the Drunken Peasants were picking up steam and he was focusing his attention towards that, with many of his AmazingAtheist videos being cuts of funny bits from the podcast. He still had a pretty good viewership on his main channel at this point but most of his money came from DP related stuff. Then Ben split from everybody else and they basically inherited DP's fanbase in the form of Deep Fat Fried, which seems to have a small but dedicated audience. Hell, even the Drunken Peasants ran by Ben seems to be in largely similar straits, with a stagnant but well-paying audience. Of course the bad news for both of them is that eventually their existing fanbases will die out and it doesn't seem like they're exactly gaining ground.I'm surprised he's still making videos. That family had the right idea.Remember when he wanted to eat his tranny girlfriend and the tranny's family pulled a gun on TJ? Good times.
DP covered some pretty fun lolcows like Gayle and the "big blond babes" guy who wrote a book about fucking Anita Sarkeesian. Good times.I remember watching the during my edngy middle school days, falling out once I realize how much of a fag both he, and every other fedora tipping atheist really is, and just did my own thing. Years later I found drunken peasants, and actually loved it. Particularly Paul's ego, but all good things come to an end. I still sub to dp, not to watch per say, but just to see how they've fallen. Kind of like watching an old friend get hooked on heroin.
I remember watching dp during the 2016 election, and it was actually pretty entertaining. None of them were massive faggots about it.DP covered some pretty fun lolcows like Gayle and the "big blond babes" guy who wrote a book about fucking Anita Sarkeesian. Good times.
Well that was because almost everyone hated Hillary with a passion besides feminists and NiggersI remember watching dp during the 2016 election, and it was actually pretty entertaining. None of them were massive faggots about it.
True, but I also think they jumped aboard the TDS train a little too hard at some point.Well that was because almost everyone hated Hillary with a passion besides feminists and Niggers
I was saying in the Jim Sterling thread, a lot of those accounts on long term youtube creators are likely dead accounts. I havent used my youtube account in many years (feedbro and jdownloader does the trick for me), so I suspect a lot of these youtubers are just padded up with long since forgotton accounts. Fuck knows what happened to my original youtube account before google, I think its subbed to jim sterling.I didn't know this guy was still around, as even back in the day when I was into the edgy skeptic shit I couldn't watch his crap. Oh for sure, and a lot of those old accounts are probably dead bots as well. I have an account with several thousand subs and while there's a group of people I recognize from when I started something like half of the people no longer really use youtube based on the analytics it's showing me. The other thing to keep in mind is some number of their views are probably bots as well, because I'll get a couple when I upload, and when I see the comments of other channels that are larger they're filled with bots, to the point some of them hire external companies to help delete those spam links.I was saying in the Jim Sterling thread, a lot of those accounts on long term youtube creators are likely dead accounts.
