Hasn't this been a problem throughout the ages when it comes to disparate, competing groups coming together under an alleged "big tent" out of convenience rather than principle? There always seems to be some sort of political plate tectonics that triggers an eruption of discontent that was always welling up under the surface between the different factions that made up the whole.

Historically all left leaning movements have always fallen apart sooner or later due to petty internal strife over the direction of the movement or leadership. This has happened all the time through the last century and in all cases, lefties convenient and usually desperate alliances fall apart very quickly when things go south (they will start blaming each other), when goals are met and they need to decide what to do next or when certain goal is met and one of the parts decides to fuck off because they got what they wanted and they hate the guts of all their friends.

For all their speeches about unity and friendship, the left will always end up with groups that cannot stand each other begrudgingly working together and when shit is done, everyone will squabble over who has priority in their goals now.
