Wasn't the Gorilla Channel thing something either Zach Hadel or Chris O'Neil made up on Sleepycabin? I could have sworn that's where it first came from. I would love to see journos accuse Trump of more Zach/Chris hypotheticals like how Trump was trying to make a tiny perfect copy of Hitler or how he really hates Linkara.

"They threw him out in the cold, and he told them to not even give him back his jacket!"

"Trump told me he came up with putting children in cages from playing Croc!"

We remember the gay-ass "you saved 16 cents on your July 4th cookout" tweets from last year, with unappealing ground beef in a skillet and kraft cheese slices folded over to seem fancy. This year your cookout costs 10 dollars more.

678.png

That seems like a small amount for a cookout that maybe means a get together of 10 people, but when you play the math, that 10 bucks increase is over a full year now. Which means an average family of four is an increase of 4 bucks a meal, that's about $1,500 more in food alone per year.

I knew Democrats would try and pivot away from Roe. This kangaroo court positively reeks of desperation, plucking some social climbing DC whore out of obscurity to feed her a hilariously hamfisted yarn. I hope the two Secret Service agents set to testify beclown her so hard she fades right back into the swamp.

Dick Durbin is a Democrat, btw. Seen a couple posts which seem to confuse the issue.

He's also a loathsome little scumbag who had some undefined and very questionable contact with Hodgkinson (the softball shooter in D.C.). No one ever looked into it, but a lot of people wondered.

[SARCASM] oh no, what a shocker, guess who's challenging the SCOTUS' recent removal of NY's stupid gun rules? [/SARCASM]

Gov. Hochul outlines proposed new gun laws in aftermath of Supreme Court decision

Gov. Kathy Hochul is hoping to sign new gun laws Thursday that will make New York safer.

Legislators are expected in Albany to address the Supreme Court's decision about who can openly carry a gun in the state.

The governor says she plans to expand the restrictions in "sensitive locations" where you can carry a gun, increase firearms training requirements and track how much ammunition is being sold.

If approved by state lawmakers, places you would not be able to carry a concealed weapon would include on public transportation, parks and other places where children would be.

Gun owners would also have to submit to a background check to buy ammunition.

The new laws would also require more than 15 hours of what she is calling "in-person fire range training."

Hochul also says gun owners should not make any assumptions about where they can carry their weapons.

"The presumption is that private property owners will not want to have concealed carry weapons on their premises, but should they decide they do, they would actually affirmatively put a sign in their window...'Concealed carry weapons welcome here' - otherwise the presumption will be in the state of New York that they are not."

The proposed changes are expected to be agreed upon by Democrats in control of the state legislature. Hochul would then have to sign then into law.

At this point in his life I would expect to have videos of Trump actually being in a rage, and I've never seen it. He comes across like Al Rothstein in Casino where he never yells but badgers you until he gets the real answer. He probably tosses in a bullshit and fuck, but we've never seen him screaming.

At this point when they say screaming I have to imagine it's a millennial who can't deal with confrontation or delivering bad news.
I also imagine that, like Sam Rothstein, when Trump really is pissed off at someone and wants to send a message, he sends someone else in as a proxy to do the dirty work.

Maybe I'm just overly optimistic, but I see no reason for them to actually go forward with this.

People forget they held the Russians off when out numbered 10 to 1 and had zero outside help. They fought so hard the Russians just gave up and said fuck it after 6 weeks of getting no where.
You know the Finns lost the war, right? they also lost the Continuation War too. This right wing revisionist history that Stalin threw down the towel instead of zerg rushing the Mannerheim Line and getting major concessions out of Finland is retarded.

White House Is Quietly Modeling For $200 Oil "Shock"

And here is the punchline: at the current record pace of SPR drainage, one way or another the Biden admin will have to end its artificial attempts to keep the price of oil lower some time in October (or risk entering a war with China over Taiwan with virtually no oil reserve). This means that unless Putin ends his war some time in the next 5 months, there is a non-trivial chance that oil will hit a record price around $200 - precisely the price the White House is bracing for - a few days before the midterms. While translates into $10+ gasoline.

Elections have consequences :smug:

Is this bitch trying to make SCOTUS just give us Constitutional Carry and enumerated 'sensitive places'? Because this kind of open, blatant disrespect of the Court and it's rulings is how we get it, God willing.

Roe V. Wade was absolutely the 3rd raid for Democrats for the last 50 years - the reason Republican gained traction was because RvW taking 50 years to be revoked really paints a general "who gives a shit" attitude from Democrats.

There's nothing they can actually say about it. They had 5 decades, so they can't pull a "we didn't have time" gambit. They had gigantic opportunities to do it over those 50 years, so they can't pull a "It was the Republicans!" card either. They also can't go "We didn't do it because it wasn't popular" because they've mashed through tons of unpopular shit over those last 50 years as well. They can't even pull a "we didn't know this would happen" card when the Supreme Court Justice RBG told them it was going to happen and begged them to codify it into law.

People are mad about what the revocation of the ruling represents for them (white women being mad about not being able to murder babies in states they don't live in) but people are starting to ask "Why was this never put into law over 50 years?" and the Democrats have no answer. As far as their base is concerned - they held the law hostage, spit in the voters faces, and then also spit in RBG's face for good measure.
Barack Obama when he ran in 2007 and 2008 said federal laws guaranteeing abortion were a top priority.
Asked in 2009 following election, not a top priority. They had a president with a claim to have won the popular vote by nearly 10 million votes, the schools shiling him, the businesses shilling him, the media of the entire western world shilling him, majority in one chamber of congress and a supermajority in the other. They dropped the ball on this so hard it is unreal. Ramrod it through, get RBG out of there once something like the SAFE Act is federal law, get another justice on the bench, done. They could have stopped all of this from being possible at least 13 years ago.

Overwhelming majority of country says America is on the wrong track, to include 78 percent of democrats and 85 percent of independents lol. 85 percent of Americans say America is on the wrong track. 79 percent describe the economy as poor, to include 67 percent of democrats. Those numbers are shocking.

A year ago, 37% of Democrats and 68% of Republicans described the national economy as poor. In the latest survey, 67% of Democrats say national economy is poor, and 90% of Republicans say the same.

Biden is even deeply underwater on coronavirus and gun policy with independents and democrats. He doesn't seem to have a net positive on anything with independents.

All these proposed gun laws are fucking retarded. People talk around the actual issue at hand. The premise is "OMG so many gun deaths!"

First off, over half of those are suicides.

--Guns and Suicide--
1656543599605.png

So right off the bat it's fear mongering. "So many people die a year by guns" is deceiving. "But strict gun laws would prevent suicides." You would have to be a retard to argue that the suicide rate would be lower with strict gun laws. if someone want's to kill themselves, they will find a way. US has alot of guns so of course thats the most popular method. How about a country like South Korea

1656543946104.png

US suicide rate is 16.1 per 100,000. They are around 23rd highest in the world.
South Korea is 28.6 per 100,000. They are FOURTH. Gun control doesn't do shit to protect suicides.

So pretty much every article you see on news sites, you have to almost always slash the number in half unless it's SPECIFICALLY states homicides. Speaking of Homicides....

--Gun's and Homicide--
United nations say's the US is 59th in intentional homicide.

Granted US is "the richest country" but the world average is about 7 per 100,000 and we are lower. America has very few gun laws, and many countries have plenty of gun laws.

1656544991879.png1656545009112.png
Variety of laws, plenty have more or just as many killings. Gun laws don't do shit.

I'll say it again, homicide rates in US are average. Gun control and preventing killings aren't the issue. Yeah you got lots of people shooting each other in the US, but everywhere else they are just as or more violent regardless of "MUH PERMITS."

--Who's Killing Who--

An article from 2018 fear-mongering guns in Chicago

1656545635631.png

Plain and simple, most gun violence is in black neighborhoods, in gang related turf wars. The US isn't some out of control warzone with shootings down every street.

My point is this:

The discussion is always around gun control and gun violence. Well the news always shows the mass shootings, but the vast majority of gun violence is gang wars. These people don't give a fuck about gun permits. You can make them do everything in the world to get a gun, waiting period, ban guns. These places already have the guns. You aren't going to get rid of all of them. Most mass shootings are white 20 something year old's who get wacked out, legally obtain guns, then shoot a bunch of people.

It's very easy for all the shrieking middle aged mothers to scream gun control gun control. If you want to stop gun violence, you have to figure out how to stop these young black teens from only having the option of joining gangs. THATS the issue. Gun control doesn't fix THAT issue.

But it makes people feel good. "Look at this white guy shoot a bunch of people we need less guns!" as the south side of chicago is a mass shooting every weekend with no one batting an eye. This is because people are racist.

The issue of guns isn't an issue until it spills out of the black neighborhoods. No one gives a fuck until some mentally ill person (who got their guns legally) shoots up a school. Thats outside of the black neighborhoods, THAT'S an issue. But when EVERY SINGLE weekend, black teens are killing each other, "well who cares about that, we have more pressing issues."
