I'm open to the idea that autoandrophilia is a thing in women. If it is, it's at low ass rates because paraphilias in women are generally at low rates. I've had troons, both online and irl, insist that women also have autogynephilia. They are absolutely persuaded that women are drenching their panties at the sight of themselves in panties and lingerie or at the thought of themselves...being what they naturally are. It's such a ludicrous cope and, like most copes, it reveals more about the person coping than anyone else. Think about it: they wouldn't insist on this if they weren't implicitly trying to suggest that women get turned on by the thought of themselves as women — just like troons do. They're unwittingly confessing that it is indeed a fetish, but they just want everyone to believe that it's a widespread fetish and one that real women share in.

I've had that happen multiple times, but I don't think said annoying people should be penalized for being "name-phobic" or anything. They're just assholes -- shrug it off and let it go. I can't even imagine getting so mad about it and thinking it should be enshrined in law that NO ONE SHOULD EVER CALL ME BY THE WRONG NAME EVER (my parents couldn't even do that growing up, for chrissakes).

Lol we've been doing that research on public attitudes towards minority groups for years. We know that American attitudes towards black people improved at a steady pace every year from like 1960s to the 1990s specifically because we actually did that research. ehhhh, I think it's a stretch to call this grooming. Do I think it's weird for a corporate ad? Yes. But I struggle to see this as grooming vs. just being in bad taste.
