He's saying he wants all abortion illegal. I said that the majority of people, it sounds like you included in our previous chat, are against abortion being illegal. I showed him polls agreeing with me. He refuses to believe it.
Ironic coming from the people who refuse to believe that most people are pro-choice, and refuse to believe every poll that shows that is the case. You guys are terrible at coping with the fact your extremist views aren't as popular as /pol/ lead you to believe

I’m part of the safe, legal, and rare camp on abortion. Anything past 15 weeks is too extreme for me in terms of elective abortion. I don’t even agree with elective abortion from my own religious beliefs, but I understand people do it anyway. Unless the baby is so severely disabled that is can’t live past birth, the mother’s life is in danger, or cases of rape and incest, it should be culturally frowned upon to get an abortion, in my opinion. I’m fine subsidizing free sterilizations and birth control though if it means less abortions happen. I think a lot of Democrats go too far on abortion, through encouraging it to be more elective and far past 15 weeks. There needs to be some balance. Dems had nearly 50 years to codify Roe and did nothing. They only have themselves to blame.

It sounds like you are pro-choice, then, too. You can be pro-choice and not want to get an abortion yourself for whatever reason you want.
I agree 100% on the subsidized birth control and sterilizations/vasectomies/etc

I pointed this and other things out to him on several occasions. Among other things, I asked why he does not think this issue should be open to the democratic process, and whether he even understands what the Dobbs ruling.means. All he does is shit up threads with the same policy preference rants. How long can someone spam the same tiresome policy preference rants that are no less repitivve than simply cutting and lasting the same thing over and over again, before given a time out.
This clown has demonstrated thst-
- he most certainly has not read Dobbs and the cases it rightly overturns, or even informed a intelligent coverage of this decision. (And again, if someone cannot keep up in a conversation by showing a minimum baseline of informed knowledge, that person should not get to have an opinion).
- continually spams, shits out talking points on why he is a strong advocate for abortion. After maybe the tenth time perhaps enough is enough.
- regardless of what someone writes in retort, including noting what Dobbs actually holds, he lashes out calling everyone who disagrees with hima fundamentalisr Christian, a boomer, a Qankn supporter, other insults that have no bearing on the actual criticism. levied against his tiresome, inane rants and, from my view, weigh down the discussion needlessly. It is actually funny because I am not a Christian,.and am latently skeptical if not traditonal.Christisniry. And not that it is entireky relevant to this discussions, but Iam deeply conflicted about abortion, as I do not like how thots put out disgusting content on social media bragging about abortion while I am also concerned about the role abortion and other elemenr of feminism have led to Europe's demographic collapse, while I also have eugneic concerns about restricting to abortion may augment the black underteo and other concerns regarding dysgenics. None of these details stop him from calling me a fundamental Christian, a boomer, blah blah blah. I finally put him on ignore.
