I've designed a Nuclear Energy Pride flag to celebrate the occasion. Pronouns Nu/Cu/Lar. The blue stripe represents the blue glow of Cherenkov radiation, the neon green stripe represents the classic green of sci-fi nuclear waste, and the large magenta and yellow stripes represent the OSHA signage colors for nuclear/radiation hazards.

If this freak can get us to have nuclear energy be more readily accepted and adopted I'll be fully in favor of replacing all the administrative bloat in the federal government with Carnies. At worst the carnies will just sit around drinking, accomplishing nothing. At best they come up with fun trapeze stunts over our newly built mega-reactor that powers the entire continent while a woman with a beard sings and a midget juggles.

The Star Spangled Banner will also be replaced with the theme of CarnEvil.

I can’t fucking stand the “Russia’s the reason petrol prices are shit” narrative.

Not because it’s a lie, but because if it was the whole truth, that means everyone’s lashed themselves to the whims of king asshole of the frozen wastes of bumfuck nowhere just so they could look good.

We should not be dependent on the cheeki breekis for anything we can avoid, especially if you think they’re a threat to the rest of the world.

I checked out his Twitter. Figure I'd put this here.

Interesting, except for a few almost performative "TRANS LIVES" retweets, mostly I'm seeing information on nuclear waste and reclamation.

But, here's a little from his Twitter.

I'm not a fan, but it looks like despite being a sex weirdo (And trust me, you don't wanna know what some of the people in NEC got up to) he's on point.

And a little factor.

He's immune to blackmail. No Chinese agent can roll up and go "Give us secrets or we'll tell everyone you like to ride around hairy buff dudes in leather dog masks" when he's already made it VERY public.

Interesting strategy, Cotton, let's see if it works.

Edit: Here he is talking about nuclear.

Another interesting thing is the gap in his stuff.

He's apparently able to not tweet on that account for months or weeks, something you don't often see in this Admin.

I checked tweets and replies. There was a gap from Feb 10th to yesterday AND he kept his appointment silent.

You gotta admit, THAT is fucking weird as shit.

You know what, if he get us on nuclear and safe disposal of waste, I don't give a shit if he wears Stars & Stripes pumps in his office.

He can be the weirdo faggot who brought us to nuclear energy.
From what I've read he's 'qualified' in the same way a lot of Ivy League and near Ivy Schools graduates are. He did non-profits and advisory jobs after college, that doesn't scream anything other then he got fucked by gay venture capitalists. I don't give a shit if the guy seems like he can't be blackmailed these people tend to be in much weirder shit and the Chinese probably have him killing a Filipino boytoy during a gay orgy.

His beliefs on Nuclear power are literally the most common belief with anyone who deals with energy, engineering, or physics. 99% of that shit screams that he's a corporate faggot. I don't want this motherfucker anywhere, but dead in a ditch even if he could lead America to some Cold Fusion bullshit.

So is this that hostile SCOTUS thing you were talking about @Gehenna ? Is the ruling broad enough to kill congress tossing away their duties to unelected bureaucrats, or did they keep it narrow enough not to rock the boat?

MSNBC's starting ringing the alarm bell, in any regard.
Its not so broad as to be a Hostile SCOTUS, but has a few things worth noting.

Several instances of language in the decision indicate that SCOTUS is fed up with things and is heading towards hostile. Additionally there is some pretty blanket language in it that could be used to argue for broader decisions against other agencies. This language seems deliberate and is basically a loaded gun pressed to the executive branches head.

It seems to me to fall short of the best case scenario, but also be a setup for SCOTUS to say "We warned you".

Yeah I'll take this ruling. Shit rolls downhill under Biden, but probably not entirely for America so far, what does the SCOTUS have to lose?

Edit: aaaand Biden does it again, saying shit like we need to fight this forever war exactly forever.
