Yes. And he was asked if he was going to return to Egypt to see her and he blathered something about all the paperwork to do and it would take time. Which is suspicious and one of several things. He can't leave the country because he's a refugee and can't go back to Egypt. Or his PR card expired so he'd need a visa to get back into Canada on his Egyptian passport - which sure could take time but it's not impossible. Or, and this is what I think, he can't leave the country because of his criminal past. But the way he was vague tells me there's something sketchy there.

He's not addicted to the people, he just loves the easy money, and the lengths he'll go to to get it are super creepy. I'm not adverse to someone going into that courtroom and spilling the tea on what's happening, as long as that's all they do. Someone needs to find out the truth, and none of the players in the chinnyverse can be trusted to tell it. Mind you, I'd rather it was just a local farmer than a reaction channel, and to be fair a reaction channel is likely to be called out by Nader and asked to leave.
