That would have scared me as a kid for sure. I was unnerved by clowns and mall Santas, so you can imagine how terrified I'd be of... what appears to be an eldritch-abomination-themed clown. Kids don't like clowns, and you're not going to change their minds calling them something else.

There's nothing wrong with boys playing dress-up, girls playing with action figures, etc. However, there's a big difference between a little boy playing dress-up, and a grown man wearing a costume meant to caricaturize women and sell expensive consumer bullshit like make-up and clothes. I barely tolerate drag shit as a niche hobby for adults, so you can imagine how I feel about this mockery of women being presented as child-friendly.

This is so transparently a hollow gesture by local governments to appear hip and woke. Honestly, this shit is just making things harder for boring, normal gay men and lesbians. Most of the ones I know personally are ambivalent about drag, and the lesbians in particular agreed that it wasn't appropriate for kids. But because drag represents a commercialized version of ~kweer aesthetic~ normie companies are pushing them as embassadors to the gay community, to the detriment of the community's public perception.

Remember, Yaniv had close connections with insiders at Twitter and for the longest time was allowed to sexually harass women and groom minors as he pleased until he became a liability to the trans cause. Bradley Manning may have gotten Lucas's Twitter back but now Lucas has such a negative spotlight on him, especially from anti-pedo groups and women rights groups on Twitter, that it is only a matter of time before Twitter and the LGBTQ groups on Twitter do to Lucas what they did to Yaniv. Jesus Christ Lucas! You are almost 30 years old but you act like a 16 year old. It is both immature and creepy. I have nothing whatsoever against drag, burlesque, and other stuff like that. A fair amount of adult culture involves transgressive themes, and this is completely okay. The unabashed thrusting of this upon children, though, is absurd, especially when it is as graphically sexualized as these "family-friendly" drag shows "you know for kids" are.

It's an insult to the intelligence of even a moron to pretend there is nothing sexual about this stuff, and that it is inappropriate outside of an adult audience should not even need to be said. Yet, this is not only the case now, but anyone who actually does point out that it is obviously inappropriate is the one demonized.

Not the one literally dressed as a bondage demon thrusting his pelvis at a child.
