I find it hard to believe anyone outside of deluded hookers actually believe all the "sex work is work!" and "sex work is empowering!" stuff. I strongly suspect it's like how a lot of folks parrot the TWAW line for woke points and to one-up on how tolerant they are, but if you press them and they're honest, they admit they know there's a difference between transwomen and real women - and they're usually uncomfy with transwomen co-opting women's spaces, whether it's sports or scholarships or locker rooms or leadership in women's movements (or, like me, all of the above).

The sex work is work line is usually screeched loudest by e-thots who don't even touch their johns, and their johns who then get to be small business supporters instead of coomer simps. Anyone else who says it is probably just nodding along, and I bet those same woke ladies who parrot the SWIW line don't feel that way when their woke husbands spend $500 a month on OnlyFans subscriptions.

Strangely, the more people who troon out, the less the family and friends affected by it seem to support it all the way as they once did. Watching a family member spiral due to being anxious at how they're perceived all the time and wrecked by any medical surgery tends to trigger empathy and a realization that they don't want it to happen to others. Even those who still support trans people afterwords start hesitating at medical care a new trans person they meet wants, as if they learned from their second hand experience. It's blasphemy to troons who are used to it and encourage others, but to the normal person not surrounded by a hugbox it reads incredibly different.
