Speaking of Sheena, I was curious to see if she'd even mention anything regarding Ice Queendom. Surprised to say, I haven't found any mention of it on her twitter account; however, she did post this in regards to the Anniversary of Monty's Death:Sounds like Shane and Sheena will be proud of this endeavor.
She certainly has forgotten trying to pawn off all his handmade cosplay stuff that he clearly cherished and would have wanted his loved ones to have.Speaking of Sheena, I was curious to see if she'd even mention anything regarding Ice Queendom. She loved him so much she tends to forget the day she indirectly killed him.

Yeah, I really didn't have anything against Monty. The guy gave his all to make the show happen and did the best with what he had, and I feel had he not been assassinated with a fully automatic assault cat, the animation would've gotten better and he would've had more resources and help to actually make what he wanted. Yeah, the writing still would've been ass, and the plots would still go fucking nowhere, but at least the fights would've gotten wilder and more fun to watch.I'm optimistic this will be even any good.
I'll cut the people in the comments SOME slack: For what was essentially a one man job, Monty's work is not bad. With respect to the fact that it was MoCapped and rendered with a small team, an equally small budget, on outdated software that Monty insisted to use, it was good in its right. Thiis was after all the very beginning of the series taking off, and obviously there wasn't a whole lot of expectation for the show to have gotten as big as it has.
Why is every single person in this photo a combination of aging poorly, fat, or a serious case of ugly personality on the outside?View attachment 3445453View attachment 3445452
5 years difference. Is it just the first night? Are more people gonna come?
This is an RT thing as it isn't even a blue/blue state thing. The NY Rangers made it to the Eastern Conference finals in hockey and Madison Square Garden was packed throughout the playoffs with 18,000+ fans and no masks. Also these faggots are still wearing masks. (don't pay attention to the empty seats)

RT are true believers. I thought that was well established. This is an RT thing as it isn't even a blue/blue state thing. The NY Rangers made it to the Eastern Conference finals in hockey and Madison Square Garden was packed throughout the playoffs with 18,000+ fans and no masks.
They know their few remaining fans are fatties and susceptible to covid so they can't let them die off. This is an RT thing as it isn't even a blue/blue state thing. It's the absolute state of USA citizens, all in one photos. Obese, wearing glasses, fedoras and facemasks. Why is every single person in this photo a combination of aging poorly, fat, or a serious case of ugly personality on the outside?
From what I understand, one of the anime that inspired him to make RWBY was animated by the same company that’s animating the new version of RWBY.Yeah, I really didn't have anything against Monty. Anyways, as gay as this sounds, I hope he's out there somewhere, and that he sees that someone gives enough of a shit about his bootleg Texas anime, to turn it into an actual anime and put in actual effort to make it look good.
So it’s all coming full circle. From what I understand, one of the anime that inspired him to make RWBY was animated by the same company that’s animating the new version of RWBY.
Probably the best respect the guy could get.
Look at the left, mostly a young crowd, sure there's plenty of tubby people in that crowd but mostly average builds, people are cosplaying, lots of RT merch and apparel, everyone looks happy. High energy, happy.View attachment 3445453View attachment 3445452

Not to mention, the venue is completely different in a depressing way. Yeah the first one is in a warehouse, but that's because that's how fucking big the convention was. Now, it's so small a theater was enough to cover the amount of people coming. And yet this is still treated like a W and not a warning sign.Look at the left, mostly a young crowd, sure there's plenty of tubby people in that crowd but mostly average builds, people are cosplaying, lots of RT merch and apparel, everyone looks happy. Look at the right, everyone in that crowd is overweight, either mid to late thirties or really rough late twenties, no cosplay, barely any RT apparel, everyone looks grumpy. Low energy, miserable.
What's even stranger is the crowd on the left is the crowd to watch a live session of Off Topic of all things. I don't know what the right side crowd is there for but I'd be willing to bet it isn't that.
And not only the difference in scale but the difference in, for lack of a better term, feel. Or I suppose maybe connotation? A warehouse is punk rock, it's a rave, it's a giant wide open space that you can do whatever the fuck you want with it and it's one fire away from a human crush and a mass casualty incident. It's fringe and rebellious. Theatres are where stuffy old codgers and childless cat ladies go to watch boring shit like Cats and Hamilton. Not to mention, the venue is completely different in a depressing way. They actually ended up hosting some of the bigger stuff/podcasts in the convention rooms, but the size of the crowd didn't look much better. And not only the difference in scale but the difference in, for lack of a better term, feel. I like the theatre, but it just isn't the right kind of venue.
The masks crack me up.They actually ended up hosting some of the bigger stuff/podcasts in the convention rooms, but the size of the crowd didn't look much better.View attachment 3449924
I love how you can see Jack and Matt not wearing masks in the background. Guess being a Cooking Oil Elemental means you're immune to the coof. The masks crack me up.
