It hasn't been a revelation to most of us that the Left will simply cheat and abuse the system if not downright violate it. This is their MO.I just realized something funny and thought I'd share it.
Since it got in, Biden's administration has effectively used agency fiat to circumvent the legislative process. It used OSHA to put through the eviction moratorium, letter agencies to enforce its edicts, and even when it would get slapped by the judiciary or Supreme Court for it, the administration, in what one can only describe as an act of utter contempt, would turn right around and keep doing it.
Very similar to the blatantly unconstitutional faggotry NYC's mayor has been doing in response to the 2A ruling, really - when told they can't do something, they just go "fuck it, we're in charge" and keep doing it, knowing that it will be months before a challenge hits. Sometimes, as in the case of the eviction moratorium, they fuck it up badly enough that the Supremes go "No, you stop that shit" within a few weeks, but most of the time their solution is to keep doing it.
This administration has spent two years thumbing their nose at not just the Supremes, but any kind of oversight in general. When you bear this in mind, it makes a lot of sense why they'd be this willing to give it a thorough dicking.
"Why can't you just drill/refine oil for free? This is why hobbyists are better than sellouts."
lol the golden state of California is going to go bankrupt.
Because they stand in the way to their hellscape dystopia they desire.I keep hearing about this 'Christian Taliban' being enforced on America by people who cheer cancel culture and genital mutilation to children without parental knowledge.
Fed might not have the money to pull them out. Baseline is already so low that any drop will be catastrophic.I have heard this a million times over my adult life. What makes this instance different?
I can imagine the Fed forcing Nevada and Arizona at gunpoint to give enough of their power and water to force brownouts and rationing in Las Vegas and Phoenix.Fed might not have the money to pull them out. Baseline is already so low that any drop will be catastrophic.
When people were saying that CA might go bankrupt in the 70's, that meant doing less maintenance on NorCal and rural roads. Nobody really noticed.
In the 80's, that meant ignoring water and power infrastructure. Nobody really noticed.
In the 90's, it meant shutting down powerplants.
In the 2000's, it meant not being able to pay pensions.
In the 2010's, it meant that they couldn't enforce the laws.
What's left?
Bridges and roads are total shit. Powerlines are causing forest fires, water lines are shot except for what pulls water to keep LA's lawns green. Lack of powerplants means CA is relying on the surrounding states now. Pensions are seriously in arrears. Lawlessness has gotten to the point people are robbing TRAINS on camera and nothing is happen, while they legalize everything from theft to prostitution to turning a blind eye to rape and murder.
What's left to defund to keep from going bankrupt? Can the Fed, which is teetering on the edge of going bankrupt itself, divert the next 45 billion dollars to CA or does it have to go to Ukraine?
What makes this instance different is that the lifeboats are gone, the ship's taking on water, the engines are dead, and you have passengers cabins full of angry gorillas about to descend on the crew.
They've done it before.I can imagine the Fed forcing Nevada and Arizona at gunpoint to give enough of their power and water to force brownouts and rationing in Las Vegas and Phoenix.
Welcome to the mindset of true believers.
This is New York. There’s enough true believers in the Big Apple and elsewhere that’ll ensure the blues keep charge, especially since states don’t have electoral colleges. To be honest, they’d find a way to enact 2020 rules if they could get away with it.
Zeldin's best chance of winning in November will be the number of "vote blue no matter who" that decide to stay home. You'd think that, but general consensus from the ground game that I'm familiar with is that the only reason that the Dems have held NYC for the last few cycles have been excessive fortification. I have no idea how true it is, but going by how much your average NYC resident wants their governor and mayor to walk into the loving embrace of a C5A Transport Plane's engine, I'd buy it.
There's way too many groups that the Dem establishment relies on that have gotten utterly butt-fucked by them policy wise over the last four years. Throw in the fact that they're bleeding support nationally and you're going to see them trying to pull some ridiculous shit to hold onto what otherwise would be a hard lock. That means they're going to be forced into trying desperately to hold power in NYC or trying to support the greater establishment on the macro scale, and no matter which one they choose, the establishment suffers.
My ideal situation is that they go all-in trying to do one or the other, lose anyway, and have nothing to show for it, but I'll take them getting thoroughly dicked in one or the other.
So this time they'll quadruple down and stop asking. Gotcha. I'll feel sorry for you out here in Flyover country, Johnny. They've done it before.
Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, WA, were all "encouraged" by the Feds to help out with SoCal's brownouts.
You'd be seeing commercials reminding you to curtail your power use, turn on the TV, and see LA lit the fuck up like a circus.
Yeah no it's BEEN bankrupt, the math doesn't add up at all in their finances. They keep giving free stimmies out to bribe votes, there's a fuckton of people on welfare, and they keep flauting the wole UBI shit. And where the fuck IS the money coming from? There isn't any middle class here anymore. That was my thought, but thinking about it... I don't think they'll let it. A state going bankrupt, especially the head lefty haven in the US? The DNC would never let that happen. Not as long as they have the ability to print money and embezzle funds to ensure California (or New York) never has to stop the gibs.
The DNC can not afford to have their poster child state on the west coast to admit to bankruptcy and there are many flyover states to steal taxes from.Yeah no it's BEEN bankrupt, the math doesn't add up at all in their finances. They keep giving free stimmies out to bribe votes, there's a fuckton of people on welfare, and they keep flauting the wole UBI shit. And where the fuck IS the money coming from? There isn't any middle class here anymore.
It's just so fucking suspicious where all the money is coming from.
I know, it's terrible. So this time they'll quadruple down and stop asking. Gotcha. I'll feel sorry for you out here in Flyover country, Johnny.
Imagine a hellscape dystopia run by literal crybabies. It would explain the growing diaper fetish tho.Because they stand in the way to their hellscape dystopia they desire.
I regret my move to the midwest every day. My body's still struggling to recover from what happened at the last farmer's market.I know, it's terrible.
Hordes of flesh eating locusts. Killer children out in the wheat and corn fields. Some psychic girl who keeps lighting people on fire. Roving packs of racists and sexists on motorcycles.
It's terrible out here.
Warn everyone. Stay away from the Midwest.
You all think this will work, but you're wrong. We convinced the world our food was terrible, our dental healthcare was abysmal, our weather was crap, and our people are wracked by alcoholism and NORF, but all the fuckers still came in their droves.I regret my move to the midwest every day. My body's still struggling to recover from what happened at the last farmer's market.
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.Same energy.View attachment 3451699
Rated this optimistic for one simple reason.Fed might not have the money to pull them out. Baseline is already so low that any drop will be catastrophic.
