Since I'm a Maple Leaf, I can tell you misgendering here is illegal. She can sue the guy and get him imprisoned. Self ID is legal here (and it just passed in Spain, charges of 150,000 Euros if you misgender a Troon). If she wanted more money and more social media clout, she'd have filmed the encounter and got this guy fired. We have Public Freakout threads and guys like Moist Critical making reaction videos. It's hard not to end up in this vids.

She didn't film him, didn't call the cops, and paid over $50 for a Dairy Queen cake. There are SCORES of lgbt friendly bakeries in the city of Edmonton. True but outside of Canada that turn of events is to put it mildly rather unlikely. And even in that guy's case- it came to that point because of a custody battle. If you're still married and/or on the same page with the kid's other parent about this, you have a tremendous amount of power still. If nothing else you can load everyone in a van and camp in Florida or Texas for a bit.

At any rate, far more honorable to fight a valiant battle to save your child, and be ultimately defeated, than to chicken out because maybe some wokie somewhere might start shit.

Light powerlevel, but i haven't caught wind about this because of the whole "ban porn and whoring" thing being the hottest drama, but apparently the LGBT recognition law is in the same package since is done by the same deranged lefties and was passed last month. I skimmed over some news and apparently you don't get fined by misgendering, but by trying to cure the gay/troon away from your kids, ranging from 10K to 150K eurobux, but i don't see it far fetched to get fines for misgendering. As well, trannies can self ID as long as they are over 16, while if they are younger they need the consent of the parents. And this also means you don't need any kind of proof to say you're a tranny, just to say you're one. No hormones, no medical stuff... Just go out and say it. Pretty insane tbh.

This paired with the Only yes means yes bill means that things are pretty fucking shit in Spain. At least they will try to ban porn and coomers will seethe.

I also remember the inmense stinker that VOX (for anyone else, the "far right" in Spain) sent out a bus saying "Only girls have vaginas, only boys have penises" and libtards went ballistic over something so inocuous. But again, they are spanish politicians and they have an ingrained deep retardation, so it's expected of them to do stupid shit.

Edit: I kept digging around about the troon law and yes, there are fines for "violent and discriminatory language againste trans people" that can get up to 200 euros. I guess my days are over.

Its the final form of intersectionality, the points where every person has their own unique snowflake of oppressions and any assumptions or beliefs you have about them is inherently "problematic" because it didn't include every possible combination of atoms in existence for consideration.

If you construct your worldview such that the oppressor class is a group that people have to actively choose to identify as, it puts you into a bit of a pickle when it comes to trying to create safe spaces. Despite the assumption of the cis hetero patriarchy being the source of troon oppresion, they've effectively argued themselves into the position that you can't actually know if any particular male individual is actually a man, or that men are indeed the beneficiaries of the patriarchy. It's like the very concept of meaning or difference is just boiling away in their fevered brains.
