Another man child bitching about "Lightyear" for an hour and a half. Though he makes a lot of interesting points throughout the video, he sounds like if you took Misanthro Pony, had him force bread with Mauler and this was the end result.
He has multiple parts for Toy Story 4, I believe 4 parts all 1 1/2 hours long. I recently found his channel through them. He makes good points but he basically goes frame by frame to find errors dragging out the vids.

Minions made over $100 million domestically over the last three days, a little over twice as much as what Lightyear made its opening weekend. The big thing here is that studios can no longer point to the pandemic or family’s unease in bringing their kids to movie theaters when it comes to explaining an animated film having a soft opening. I know that there are some Atlantis and Treasure Planet fans here, but both of those movies flopped very badly, and it felt like Lightyear was from a similar mold. Disney might really want to start highlighting the sillier aspects of Strange World, or it’s gonna get massacred.

Then again, Minions was from a big hit franchise.

Of course not, but not getting a movie for your kid who asked about it because the villain is too mean is absolutely retarded.
For the most part I agree (mainly because I grew up watching movies with villains a lot meaner than Lotso). However I'm going to play Devil's Advocate for a moment and say that maybe we're not giving the dad enough credit. Maybe his kid is sensitive and gets upset about certain things easily, and he wants to avoid his kid getting upset and maybe even having nightmares when it's preventable. My older sister was that way, and very much still is. Our mom has recounted how the first time she told my sister Little Red Riding Hood, my sister got upset and cried when the girl got eaten, so she quickly invented an ending where she's gets rescued and the wolf dies, and never ended the story with the titular character getting eaten ever again. Yet I had no problems with the actual ending whatsoever. My sister has always detested Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry (but not classic Disney shorts for the most part) and I think it's because of the "meanness" factor that most Disney shorts didn't have.

Strange World is fucked based on the trailer engagement.

The fact I'm even asking what Strange World is should be telling.
The only thing I know is that the main character is gay gay gay gay gay & that's why we should care about this ugly piece of shit movie.

They are trying really hard to groom children. But children don't care about this crap only woke adults do. This garbage is also going to bomb hard.

I already had a headache watching the trailer. And the comments? Whoa nelly, the comments! Bot central.

"Never Seen Before!"

Yet I'm getting "Croods" vibes, "Titan A.E." bits, and "Monsters vs. Aliens" influences. With the "Disney face" syndrome. The guy could've been a slightly stretched an/or squashed model from Onward (also reminds me of the backpacker guy in Hotel Transylvania), the woman looked like a recolored version of the strong sister from Encanto.

It literally looks like leftovers and playing around with the physics engine of their 3D software.

Off topic for a second, Disney had been black-washing earlier than we thought in the 80ies As they black-washedPollyanna with Polly which as expected included the race angle. As they can't have Southern whites and negros on screen peacefully co-existing.

I can't begin to describe how fucking boring and ugly Disney's latest models are compared to their colorful, expressive 90's/Early 2000's lineup. Note how ALL the old 2D models have different designs, styles and variety to their expressions. And APPEAL, holy shit.

None of them look alike. None are modeled the same. There's more fucking diversity here than anything the Mouse shits out today.

I was like that when I was first watched Dumbo. I really lost my shit during the part of the movie where the young delinquents (Smitty was the name of one of them) were teasing and harassing Dumbo to the point that I was throwing stuff at the TV in a juvenile way to ward the punks off from him.

I believe to my knowledge my mother ran see what was going on and after comforting me she went ahead and made an edited version of the movie (we rented tapes from the library/blockbuster then proceed to make a "dupe" on a blank one then return it) that cuts out said scene and skips to Dumbo's mother in the solitary confinement wagon (Mad Elephant). So yeah it's probably that the dad's son had certain issues like that too.
