He could put all the energy he does making multiple Twitter accounts into making his own instance on the Fediverse, but since Nick would get his ego savaged on there, he's going to continue making Twitter accounts and getting banned repeatedly. Sunk cost fallacy truly is something to behold.

On his show last night, he was happy to see Right Wing Watch's tweets of clips from his show going "viral" and watched them again to savor, so I think he would've created another sock if he could. He did say something in an earlier AF episode about Twitter getting smarter about his socks and banning them almost immediately after creation, so that could be the reason for his absence.

I think most of us assumed he was done with Twitter because we didn't see people mentioning content. Plot twist: Everyone just stopped caring because his tweets are boring now.
He's probably just as addicted as ever.
