I own many guns, but let's not be completely retarded here. There are only 195 countries in the world - how could it not be in the top 100?

"A 2015 Politifact article correcting then-President Barack Obama’s statement that no other advanced country experiences mass shootings like the U.S. cited data from 2000 to 2014 to prove that mass shootings do indeed happen in other advanced countries. However, the article conceded that the U.S. experienced 133 shootings during that period, while the next-highest total was Germany with six."

And that's just mass shootings. US is #2 for gun deaths overall.

Countries with the Highest Total Gun Deaths (all causes) in 2019

  1. Brazil — 49,436
  2. United States — 37,038
  3. Venezuela — 28,515
  4. Mexico — 22,116
  5. India — 14,710
  6. Colombia — 13,169
  7. Philippines — 9,267
  8. Guatemala — 5,980

Like I said, I'm a pro-gun gun owner, but... you know, not retarded.

Worthless and misleading measurement when you completely discount population numbers.

The United States has almost 1/2 of the world's guns not owned by governments but less than 1/5 of the world's total gun deaths a year so I don't give a shit about your numbers.

Not counting active wars, most of which involve not-governments on at least one side, or the US would be even lower in its proportion of the total gun deaths a year.

That last list is pretty silly because it's "gun deaths," which always rolls together suicide and violence, with suicide being the vast majority of those deaths in the US due to easy civilian ownership, but murder being the majority elsewhere where gun ownership is much more heavily restricted. I mean, I'm not trying to brush off suicide but someone causing self-inflicted harm is obviously not the same issue as murder and definitely not the same as this attack. it's also silly because just making a list of deaths from countries without statistically adjusting for population is either a smoothbrain moment or propaganda- for example #3 Venezuela on that list had ~9,000 fewer gun deaths than the #2 US, but only has a population of about 28.5m, which is less than 1/11th that of the US. That means you have a MUCH higher chance of dying from a gunshot in country #3 than #2. Same for Mexico, Columbia, and Guatemala vs the US, and in those countries it's mostly criminals with guns, so it's rarely suicide and almost always violence

(Now, in sum: USA is #1 for mass shootings, #2 for all-cause firearm death when suicides are included, #2 for strictly gun suicides per capita (Greenland is first). Now, it's true we are not in the top ten for gun homicides per capita - those are all Latin American countries with high rates of gang violence - but we still have unusually high rates of firearm homicide per capita. We're something like 50th in all homicides per capita, with the countries beating us being universally much less populous. Firearm homicide rates in the US are 13 times greater than they are in France, and 22 times greater than in the European Union as a whole, 23 times the rate of firearm homicide in Australia, etc.)

Isn't it fun skewing statistics?

You get a better picture comparing per capita vs homicide. Just to push the flip side of the arguement, you could filter this down to stabbings and claim the world needs more knife control:

Total, not per capita, and us gun deaths normally includes suicide. Personally I think homicides in general is more informative

I totally agree with you, and was just disputing the statement that we are "not in the top 100," which is absurd no matter whether you're excluding suicides or not. It took me a sec to locate the data but the USA is #18 in specifically firearm homicides per capita. There just aren't that many countries on this benighted earth.

Go back to reddit with those "research" skills you 2022 faggot.

Also sell your guns to someone who will defend their ownership.

Video with decent audio clear of drums and other artifacts. I count 11 shots before a pause then another 22 after that.
Wonder what that pause was. If he was reloading (and let's assume he has a 30-round mag), after 11 shots would be an odd time to reload.

He also could have been moving positions or clearing a malfunction.
