TRIXIE THE GOLDEN WITCH, have been writing and speaking on the internet since 2001--as a full-time job since 2013, thanks primarily to the generous support of my patrons. I was one of the very first creators to make a living through Patreon, and it has remained a tentpole of my career for nearly a decade.
In that time, I've changed a lot as a creator and learned about what does and doesn't work for myself and my audience. Because I have a broad range of interests and people that I enjoy working with, I am involved in a huge variety of projects and content styles--which become difficult to account for in a catch-all way for me to clarify what, exactly, you are supporting when you support my Patreon.
After all, the money I make on here helps to facilitate ALL of the many gonzo activities my lifestyle puts me in pursuit of. As an acolyte of Hunter S. Thompson, Oscar Wilde, Jorges Luis Borges, Dick Masterson, Contrapoints, ghostlightning, Roger Ebert, Red Letter Media, Film Crit Hulk, Cinemassacre, Yahtzee Croshaw, and a laundry list of lyricists I can't even start to get into without lengthening this paragraph too much, I feel I owe it to myself to have all of the experiences necessary to gain the perspective that makes my writing great. One episode of
Monthly Cinematic Update--a monthly show I will be launching to keep up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe going into the future.
