The scene forces DSP to confront his barely latent homosexual desire to be ( possibly forcibly ) topped by juiced up, gorilla sized men.

You can't pretend to cringe at that part of FF7 for the homosexual implications and be a wrestling fan at the same time, it's just not possible.

I didn't watch the stream, but it's interesting that Phil would choose to do the Honeybee Inn stuff, considering how much he has bitched about it previously. It's completely optional. All you're required to do to progress in the game is get the dress and the wig. You also don't get any items or in game benefits for doing the Honeybee Inn scenes or getting the other optional accessories like the tiara to be chosen by Corneo. Just some extra dialogue in scenes Phil has called immature and used as a primary reason for disliking the game on many, many occasions over the years.

Phil the professional victim was out in full force today. What did he get "triggered" about? He got corrected for retconning American history and now, because he got corrected, he got upset. What is my point in his all of this? I mentioned this in the DSP Psychology thread, as this was brought up on That Being Said podcast by Steven of the Dead that we all know that Dave is a STRONG candidate for NPD and cluster B personality disorder, but he brought up cluster C personality disorder which includes anxious, fearful thinking or behavior. What is part of that? Avoidant personality disorder.

To give a brief overview, Avoidant Personality Disorder includes:

• Too sensitive to criticism or rejection
• Feeling inadequate, inferior or unattractive
• Avoidance of work activities that require interpersonal contact
• Socially inhibited, timid and isolated, avoiding new activities or meeting strangers
• Extreme shyness in social situations and personal relationships
• Fear of disapproval, embarrassment or ridicule.

I go more into depth on the DSP Psychology thread, but since a clinical diagnose is out of my scope of practice, that is another analysis of our favorite cow.

I just listened to Phail's welfare check police visit. What does he mean when he says that the cops said 'thank you for calling us and letting us know ahead of time what was happening'? He didn't know anything was happening until he heard the loudspeaker outside.

When Phil first moved to Washington, he contacted the local police and let them know that he was an internet personality, and that it was likely that someone would make a false call in an attempt to "swat" him at some point in the future.
I'm not sure what video you're watching, but based on what you posted, it just sound like he worded things poorly which perhaps made it sound like he called them just ahead of that specific incident, which was not the case. I'm fairly certain he's just referring to his preemptive call to the police.
Being that they (supposedly) thanked him for that, and that they didn't send an actual SWAT team to kick down the door, I guess they must've made a note of some sort regarding his call, and acted accordingly. Phil's fairly lucky regarding that, since I'm sure some local police departments would have basically disregarded such a call, which could have led to that "wellness check" or whatever being much more dangerous and/or hilarious.

He did not save his game. He got right to the point where you hit save and turned the fucking game off. He's going to have to do the whole tower over again.
