I have serious doubts as to whether Bob actually knows the meaning of "diegetic" in this context. If Taika were flashing signs diegetically, it either means it's in a movie and the characters are somehow aware of this shit 4th-wall style or Taika's flashing signs IRL and somehow seeing something IRL that is being flashed at you IRL is "diegetic" (which makes NO FUCKING SENSE EITHER WAY, but this IS Bob we're talking about here).
I haven't seen the movie but if it means anything since he sometimes pops up in this thread, Scott Mendelson's a Bob tier Disney shill and he didn't like it. A guy who gave things like Chip & Dale and Free Guy 7 out of 10s. The only other ones I know he gave bad reviews to are Eternals and Black Widow. That's probably not a good sign

I couldn't care less about the MCU one way or the other. But I am rooting for it to collapse, if only to see Bob's mind slowly crack.
In the past he claimed he took diction classes to drop it in college as part of a broadcast media degree or whatever. Given the length of time that's passed and the amount of simmering rage he seems to have he's probably just stopped bothering trying to drop it.

Diegetic simply means "part of the world". It's predominately used to describe the soundtrack. For example, a non-diegetic soundtrack is when a pop song is playing during a montage in an MCU movie. The music isn't actually playing in the world. An example of a diegetic soundtrack is in Birdman where all of the music is played by a street drummer and only plays when he plays or is around. I have no idea exactly what Bob means by "diegetic ways" the movie tells you that this is a movie that's not supposed to be taken seriously. I'm imagining that it's as subtle as Thor and Whor headpatting a bunch of kids saying "This was made for you!" or they just look directly into the camera and say it.You aren't children right? So don't watch Whor. In fact, don't watch MCU.

For anyone not aware Bob is talking about Ethan Van Sciver. I'm pretty sure Bob had for his twitter banner a screen cap of Ethan saying that James Gunn would never come back to direct another Marvel movie after James's sorta cancelling. It was a rare Bob W that had absolutely nothing to do with anything Bob did.
Are there problems with the adoption agencies? Sure. Are there problems with children crossing the southern border vanishing? Very much yes. Do I wanna be preached to by a fat ass who never spoke out about this until news told him it was Trump's fault, even ignoring that the cages pictures were from the Obama era when things were much, much worse? lol no. It's more of a problem regarding Bob's colossal immaturity and the awful work he puts out. I don't have a problem with older guys enjoying things that are mostly meant for younger audiences, fuck, sometimes it helps in building bonds between different generations. One of the older guys at a place I used to work had precisely this kind of relationship with his grandkids, he would take them to the movies and enjoy a good time together with the superheroes on the silver screen, considering how much special effects and the like evolved from the time this guy was on his teens to now, it is certainly a wildly different experience!
Which is hilarious considering that people without any sort of formal training can learn it by practicing their voices, even if just to imitate actual announcers and other potent voices, fuck, people without any formal qualifications can learn and apply technical knowledge even if just by buying equipment and using it as they go. Bob has a fucking degree and can't produce anything with the slightest hint of professionalism!
