There’s the Tiny Tim laughter, like you already mentioned. “Paris” does come across pretty put together, and it’s so jarring juxtaposed next to Oliver who is giggling like a retard and making everything uncomfortable, all while his enormous, pale man foot is displayed grotesquely center frame.
There was the infamous “feel free to remove your clothes” quip when Paris was discussing how vulnerable Paris felt while revealing things in the book.
Paris said he doesn’t want to always do trans content and is proud when he writes a column or makes an appearance that’s not solely about trans stuff. Paris says, “I know you don’t want that either…” (i.e. constantly focusing on being trans), which is hilarious in retrospect after seeing Oliver’s career trajectory since. “Watch my tranny play!”
And another really interesting part is when Paris talks about all his struggles that aren’t about being trans - job stress, relationships, family strife. Paris says “it’s not just trans people who are suffering…” And Olly says in his strained falsetto, “yeah, there’s gay people, non-binary people…” Lol. Completely oblivious to the fact that Paris was referring to the GENERAL BRITISH PEOPLE and how everyone struggles in life. But Olly is just so focused on his muh oppression grift/fetish and can’t do anything but pontificate about being a troon. Even though at that point he’d been out for a couple months vs Paris who was gender non-conforming for decades.
And last but not least Olly says being trans is a gift which Paris meets with stammering and a disavowal, saying “sometimes I think it’s a curse.” Which must have really stung as Olly claims that’s what Contra told him when he first came out.
Did I mention the feet???
