Psuedo-bisexuality is usually the best term to describe AGPs. They’re natively attracted to women (hence their obsession with them) but after a point their sexual life is more about being perceived as a ”sexy lady” by others than attraction to the other person. This is probably why the cotton ceiling and hating on chasers are such common tropes. A lesbian refusing to sleep with them and a guy being specifically into their dick breaks the fantasy. Same reason they pester lesbians in the first place rather than settle for straight chicks who have no tucking standards.

Basically, an actual bisexual is attracted to both sex. An AGP psuedo-bisexual meanwhile just doesn’t care because the experience is about being “bred” or whatever the fuck. It’s a sexuality where the other parties are basically irrelevant as human beings.

I wouldn't necessarily call it even pseudo-bisexuality. As you said bisexuality means attraction to both sexes - AGPs essentially treat other people as accessories, as fleshlights and dildos, just to satisfy a base urge. The target and object of erotic and sexual arousal is one's self, the other party's existence and sex is relevant only as a tool of validation.

AGP is, at its core, a sissy fetish. Heterosexual AGPs find themselves drawn to men, or at least the fantasy of having sex with men, because being penetrated is the height of humiliation and degradation in their eyes.

Women have spent about six years being told they were centering their own reproduction as a central tenet and facet of feminism. Women were told to be more inclusive… no matter if rape, death in childbirth, abortion rights, and so many other things involving reproduction and child care… were still very important topics.

Joe still is blind to the fact that it is so much easier for a man to do all that he’s done. It isn’t even slightly impressive. If he would have done what he did while getting a period, raising a kid, or being a wife it would be more impressive.

As it is he’s just a Halloween costume guy. And women lost abortion rights.

I was unlikely to read this book anyway but after reading this complete gibberish of an endorsement I'm even more unlikely as I'll only ever associate its cover with whatever the fuck this is that Joe wrote. I know what he's trying to say because I'm not a retard and I have familiarity with this kind of gibberish language but it's hilarious that he thinks this is the way to promote something to people who aren't retards like himself who can't read anyway. (Not that he probably cares since that's not the reason idiots like this post things like this.)

Mallory does her spritely, self-deprecating schtick, describing her video game addiction as though her problems are actually due to design flaws in the game (Sid Meier's Civilization Six). There are some nice touches. She captures something about how the war-gaming experience feels, but with some social-critical overtones too. Then toward the end, she abruptly drops this in:

Wow. My interest in Mallory tends more to the tragic than the comedic. I really admired her work, a lot of it anyway. Even now, if this were a fictional narrator, I'd say that surprising turn was brilliant and poignant. In real life, though.... do you think she's assuming that her mother will see these words, or that she won't?

If Mom or Dad Ortberg (or Johnny!) was blogging about the family estrangement, I'd totally be reading that stuff too. But they have more sense. It looks like the pastor-Dad is quietly trying to put his career back together.
