The entire political atmosphere of Japanese democracy is much different than other countries. It's a country that has had the ideals of democracy put upon itself after being conquered. People quite literally vote for Abe's party because it's been the party in power since the constitution was implemented, therefore it has a traditional precedent. The most major pushback to not having a Japanese military is not pacifism or leftism, but for the sole argument that it would be against tradition to change the constitution. What we see in that country is democracy in law but not in form, the concept of it all is antithetical to the Japanese spirit.
If Abe went against the conservative talking points, he would be ousted quite easily for disrupting the current harmony. So he tells the Japanese public what they want to hear, which angers communists and trannies. Communists have a much bigger hate boner for Japan since the very existence of a right learning ethnostate is scary to them, not to mention how hard they slapped the shit out of China (leftist's payroll) so hard the chinamen's ass still bleeds to this day.
But there's no way he isn't part of the global club. A fucking mono-lingual anime-freak tranny like byuu can immigrate there these days, that didn't happen 7 years ago. The country is headed down a dark path and selling it's future because of economic stability.
