They fucking hate the Japanese.

During WW2 Japs tried to erase Korean culture — literally. They forced children to learn Japanese, write in Japanese, daily activities were all to be done the Japanese way. Upper-class and wealthy either acted Japanese or were. So once war was over, Korea fucking hates anything related to them and the other way around.

They make archaeological discoveries in Korea that suggest Japan may have been their origin and fucking no one believes it. Same with any other evidence.

Believe it or not, this kinda shit happens in Israel too

It's effective in that former leaders still hold large political sway, especially among their constituents.
Look how many times Bush and Obama were approached to criticize the current administration after their time was over.

It's also a terror tactic, you're not safe no matter if you are in office or not, so continue dancing the way we want you to dance.

And of course it's symbolic.

Second off, the only reason I’m willing to believe the guy might’ve been a Foreign Asset - long shot that that is - is that most Asian Countries, from what I know, all hate each other. The fact there hasn’t been a major war between Asian Countries in years amazes me…

Political achievements/rights granted under Abe,

his biggest achievements have been in work and family reform
  • paternity leave (fathers get to take off work when a baby is born)
  • encouragement for companies to give bonuses to people who have new babies ON TOP of maternity/paternity leave
  • cut working hours significantly
  • eliminated "wait list children" aka childcare facilities could not take on extra kids, so facilities were expanded to help both parents work this was done by more facilities. note: in urban areas it would be very noisy to have a nursery next door to your apartment or office so this is a hard task in itself because it is MEIWAKU (translation: to cause trouble for others) to build one. Retention of employees was helped by increasing the payment of the workers.
  • promoting early education for children and increasing its usage
  • more scholarships for higher education
  • making the workplace more accessible for women to ease the burden on single earning men
  • Set goals for percentage of women that should be in work forces for companies and in Parliament (his initial goal was 50% by 2020 but then 2020 happened)
  • prevention of 24 hour trains in order to have workers use the excuse of "oh this is the last train home I can't come out for drinking again after work with the boss" basically prevents overwork.


Reasons why people would be disgruntled
  • Unstable job creation lead to harshness for youth similar to the issue in Murica with boomers. Birth rate was blamed instead instead of trying to fix unstable jobs
  • issues with the teacher lisence renewal policies in its creation and execution
  • Bad handling of corona virus
  • bad handling of Olympics
  • Abenomask (baiscally the government sent out these masks to try to help lack of masks, they are shit lol. people found insects, hair, and other gross things in the "sterile" masks. there was also sizing issues and distribution errors) the whole thing was useless and basically a giant meme.
  • expansion of non-regular employment (temp work which hurts workers long term)
  • suspicion of falsification of documents /cronyism related to the department of tax administration
  • some people were mad about the early childhood education

We wore masks like this pre-corona because we have the decency of not wanting to get other people sick when we are sick.
It also is very effective in assisting with filtering out allergens (I highly rec it if you suffer from them).

There is also some anonymity because there's no way this dude didn't know he wasn't going to get caught and Japanese media is vicious to criminals regardless of age. We publish your full name, age, where you work/what kind of work you did, where you went to school, like a full ass dox that would make the farms proud.... like the shaming is REAL. There is no protection. So this is one semblance of it.
