California Assembly Bill 5 is exactly what this is about. If they have to carve out exceptions each time they ram rod this shit, what is the point then? Clearly it isn't viable with California seeing as nearly all truckers in California are owner operators (same goes for the entirety of the country). If this was isolated to just California and their food, great, die bug-men. But I suspect a non insignificant amount of food comes through Cali ports.

Suffice to say, hold onto your asses. The only caveat is out of state contractors/owner operators can still haul from Cali; but truckers are already de-incentivized to haul as-is with fuel prices.

That might be an intern trying to do something semi-respectful that sounds retarded in English. Japanese names have surname first and I remember it coming up before that it annoyed Abe that his shit was always backwards.

It’s probably not done because they’re relatively more like western-style names, whereas most other places that do it use monosylabic ones. It sounds overly clinical to do constantly.
