The zoonisis issue is primarily because humans ARE primates, so of course we can share lots of diseases with nonhuman primates. The risk goes both ways too, in fact primate keepers often wear PPE less to protect themselves from diseases carried by the animals and more to protect the animals from human diseases, since even shit that's minor in humans like colds and flus can get nasty especially for smaller primates. Non-human primates at zoos are even given vaccinations when applicable, to help protect them against human diseases they have less resistance too (for example I know gorillas at my local zoo get flu shots every year).

She should hate humans most of all since they're the primate she has the most risk of getting a disease from, and they're objectively the worst primate anyway (since they're the only one doing shit like commissioning zoosadism torture vids).
