General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I'm seriously questioning who they are made for. Is anyone actually buying them and the vinyl version? Is there an umknown japanese oldschool culture? Because I don't know of one in the west.
Japanese audience that still uses Cassettes? Maybe just a cool collectible item even if you can't really play it. I mean i still have a cassette player around. Havent used it but it was a small little radio I bought for a storm and it included a cassette player.

More than an outfit reveal I hope they get her 3D so that she can perform with her JP senpai.

NEW OUTFIT! FINALLY! I win. Like 50% because it’s “coming soon”

... Yes, hipster and arty fartsy types still buy vinyl and cassette releases. Had a co worker talk my ear off about how superior and "warm" they are compared to "cold" digital, imperfections and all that. The album cover artwork on them are also collectables, just like how some gamer nerds collect physical game boxes to display even though many people are mostly digital nowadays.

My money is on redesign, she said she's been pushing to announce this for a while, and we already know she's getting a new years outfit eventually so redesign seems likely, she even said earlier that her next MV is finished but is delayed "not for suspicious reasons or anything"
I honestly can't think of any other reason she wouldn't at least have 3D than a redesign of her base model.

You know what, that actually makes sense.

That doesn't.

Edit: About the teaser, she said she had to push a lot for it to finally have any result. So while my money is still more on the "new outfit" side of things, it kinda sounds more like a more impactful circumstance, so "redesing" clearly isn't of the table either.

Glad there's finally a full-on group doing it; Supermassive's games feel like they're made exactly for chilling out with friends and riffing on them, like how you'd do it with a standard movie. Most of the time something just feels missing when people do solo streams of these.
Agreed, but I do think that four maybe too much for a game like this. It's hard to hear the game with all of them talking at the same time. Also doesn't help that their audio is all fucked. I think I prefer Elira's and Pomu's playthrough a bit more, because they seem more invested in the game.
