General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Im confused. Who's audition? Any archive of it?
Mumei's karaoke, she used the sad face on her model the whole time and was acting sad sometimes, but also telling chat that she wasn't actually sad. Who knows which Mumei is the truthful one?

I'm not sure if anyone archived, I just noticed it on holodex in the 'future streams' part saying 'soon', I immediately opened it and she was already mid-song. She may have even started the stream after she was already singing. First time I looked at the start it was 3k viewers so people probably weren't really ready to record, and she ended it abruptly at ~15k viewers 2 hours later.

She goofed around a bunch, quit songs halfway through because she got bored, and did a bunch of acapella, but this was one of the highlights that I just found on 4ch https://files.catbox.moe/60balr.mp4

Oh wait. Here's the full one: https://mega.nz/folder/qB5HxTIY#HC3ADdFM59KRiRrxHQduxw
Jesus, Shipping is almost twice the cost of the item.
As others have mentioned; if available in your areas, the official shop is way cheaper than geekjack. And shipping stays the same regardless of how much you buy. For me it was "Buy the hairband? $23 shipping. Buy the full set? $23 shipping".

I mean hell, look at Atlus, as far as I can tell it took Sega dragging them kicking and screaming to start releasing their games on PC, and even still they have their archaic streaming limitations that cause a lot of streamers to not even bother streaming the game. I'm sure most people have at least one game they have bought because of a content creator playing/reviewing it, that they otherwise might have never seen.
I've bought more games in the last 5 years off seeing them in streams than from any other review or advertisement because even if the streamer is a paid shill, there's only so much bad design that can be hidden in live play that makes it easier to see what I'm in for. I can understand having an unrealistic opinion of your story quality and not wanting to spoil it for potential new audience, but at the same time I think they're underestimating the number of people that would still buy a game even if they see the story through on a stream. Beyond that, they could be getting fans that, while they don't buy one particular game because they see it streamed, they had a good enough time watching it that now they have that company name in their heads, it's free real estate for a future release to be considered as a must buy so they can get on the wagon too.

Just to note, with Holopro, you can order from multiple talents' merch and the shipping with not increase, even if shipping takes place months apart. Idk if this means they wait for all the merch to come at once, but I ordered Sana's whole set and an item from Kiara and Subaru and only got shipping added once.

Honestly, if people think Elden Ring is bad, they're gonna hate SMT and Persona streams. Those games can take over 100 hours to beat.

Don't know if this was posted yet or not. It appears Marine injured her knee today during recording.

Speaking of Marine: Does anyone remember the Gura sex doll?

It would fit better the plagued thread but I refuse to post there

*Mumei singing 7 years*
Thank you for that I needed it in my life

If I like a game enough that I saw someone stream I'll buy it even if I never play just to support the dev

I said before I bought 13 sentinels on two consoles and gifted a switch copy to a friend for a total of 3 and I was informed of it's existence through NicoB's lp
