Sana just had an unfortunate time, compared to Ayame, but unlike Sana, Ayame is protected by a grandfathered contract that anything she does even behind the scenes basically saves her. Sana only ever had 1-2 projects for Cover outside of streaming.
I can't even remember where I read it, but pretty sure there are no streaming obligations at all after certain time in Hololive.
She didn't say, she just made a comment saying there would be a statement released and she gave no reason in her stream, coupled with her saying how much she loved her time there it's most likely Cover axed her which is not a good look with the Kson and Kanata drama.
