General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

My guess is that they tried to be as accomodating as possible (consider that Calli's contract should have allowed her at least 2 streams per week) but she was just given too much workload by her Chinese Overlords and couldn't commit.
I know it's legalese, but that announcement does read like they tried to keep her on, but she just decided to go.

July is a cursed month for Hololive. I don't think I could take it if Ame or Kronii graduated next year.

This is my biggest gripe; I may not be Sana's biggest fan but it's been clear that a LOT of the HoloENs like her. I hope this doesn't set off a wave of graduations or depression among EN
We though this would happen with Coco but everyone seemed to manage it in their own way although there was that depressing atmosphere for like 2 months after.

By that logic Aqua & Ayame should be out at this moment.
Contractually new Hololive members are required to stream at least 3 one hour streams a week for the first year, after that they can do basically whatever they want. I'd say management has been incredibly lax with her in regards to her situation.

Can you imagine how someone who auditioned for EN2 feels seeing this.
I've often thought this in regards to Sana, she was barely around, appeared to have minimal chemistry with other members, refused to utilize her gift in art for streams or the company, had a very limited range of things she was interested in/wanted to stream and overall just seem to have vague motivations in general. There are so many talented, driven individuals out there that would have killed for the opportunity she landed.

At least a lot of the graduates come back elsewhere.

Coco came back as Kson. Suzuhara Lulu came back as Misumi Yuka. Aloe came back as Delutaya. Rushia came back (before getting driven off by haters again).

The ones who genuinely love streaming seem to stick with it. The ones who were doing it as a side project - at least we got to enjoy some time with them.

Wasn’t a big Sana fan, but I know how it feels to have someone you like graduate, so feels to those who are losig her.

Speaking of Yuka, I know we don’t usually post real people, but she did an awesome in-studio dance practice today, and it’s my favorite of her streams, so I want to share:

Almost seemed to me like she was in a hurry to get that stream out before the announcement.
I mean she said herself that she wanted to be the first one to break the news, but the short-notice stream and her talking about the 'official-reason' screams cover being retarded to me.

There's no harm in letting her announce it in a more graceful manner and she didn't really seem happy about how it went down in the end imo.

The sad thing is that Sana has streamed way more hours than this requirement, just not the 3/week part. Over the last 9 months that would be about 120 hours or so - Sana has streamed for 330 hours over that time. The other council girls are only like 100-150 hours or so ahead of her during that time. Perhaps they reiterated that the 3 streams a week wasn't negotiable, and she elected graduate rather than push her health. We'll never know....
