They always leave out class and socioeconomic standing in these discussions. Rich white people hate poor white people just as much as they hate black people (and I do wonder if that might be mitigated if the black person has enough money/education/connections).

I never understood people that do this sort of crap with their cars and laptops. I've seen some people with the gay stickers in the cars and a lot more with a shitload of stickers on their laptops. Do they really need to advertise to everyone around them their obnoxious political/social/whatever beliefs? Where does this trend come from? Because if someone reaches that level of stickers on a car i first think they are some sort of obnoxious retarded attention seeker.

Okay, but all three of those Marvel heroes were C-Listers boosted for diversity purposes, and even discounting those specific heroes, turning Spiderman into an Avenger proved that point aggressively true. As for the Robins, this "meme" seems to forget just how hated Jason Todd was when he debuted to the point that fans voted for him to die. Casting aside that controversy, making Falcon become Captain America was quickly accompanied by Sam engaging in excessive political activism, including one infamous comic where he fought some pseudo-klansmen trying to stop illegal aliens who had just crossed the border. Of course people would consider that mantling to be politically motivated when Marvel insisted on that sort of bullshit to start the Captain Falcon period. Aside from that, the TV show decided to make a "racial loan discrimination" subplot, ignoring that Sam Wilson is both publicly known as the Falcon/Captain America and a war hero before that, and then ended with Sam making a rant about how we need to be nice to the illegal immigrants and ban guns (or something like that). That is very fucking political, and don't try to turn it into some racial bullshit because people are accepting of other Legacy Superheroes.
