The whole Aussie government blackmail certainly paints her reappearance as a more "reasonable centrist" in a different light. She didn't wise up, see the light of centrism, she just got a taste of globohomo coming down on her and she submitted. I don't blame her, I don't think women are made for this stuff, but it's strange she would broadcast that, knowing how it would look. But maybe that's the point...

I have always been surprised that anyone took the leaders of the 2016 pop-right movement seriously from the get go. I'm not even sure it's possible to have a political movement that isn't completely ideologically corrupt in current year unless it's insular to a specific group. I didn't really know much about Lauren Southern, I just assumed she was another pretty girl using the classic hot-girl-in-guy-group grift. That's true, but it seems like she is actually a good actor on the whole. I still don't see the appeal of Paul Joseph Watson. I can't imagine the type of person who would watch something from him.

Oh bullshit. There isn't a 19 year old in the world who doesn't know that some strange dude inviting you to an AirBnB is a recipe for surprise buttsechs. This is just her trying to deflect responsibility for her own actions. That whole video was literally her pulling the same crap Milo does in blaming everyone but herself for her problems. She hasn't learned a damn thing and this is literally her trying to recover some of her spent reputation since she's trying to make a comeback. Don’t know any of those people you talk about, but Milo hasn’t been relevant since Berkeley, Tommy has gone to jail for his campaign against grooming gangs, and it’s been talked about in Paul’s thread somewhat, but Paul will pretty much endorse anyone or anything if they take a shot at the left that looks like it’ll hurt at least a little.

Meanwhile, Lauren has a documentary about farmers to her record and working with groups to try and stop migrant ships headed to Europe. Who looks better here?

Edit: Watched the bit with Caolan and George talking of how they were blackmailed by Hope Not Hate to force them to speak to the group and how they had files on them that included stuff about psychiatric visits and government information. Forget at times how fucked up these NGOs can be.

Australia really did email her saying she'd be able to get a visa to come into the country and visit her husband's family because she left public life and then threatened that she could lose that ability if she engaged in conduct that likely would consist of anything that annoyed them.

I don't disagree that she's grifting again, I disagree with the fact that it's because "the tide is turning." (It's not really) She knows who her audience is and has been. It would be to difficult for her to convince a bunch left wing simps that she's changed her outlook on politics, and she wouldn't accumulate anywhere near the same audience numbers she had with right wing incels. On top of that, grifting is very territorial. A good example would be with Shoe On Head. When June tried to lean more into socialism, all of the female champagne socialists who were there before stomped her out fast to prevent competition.

There's something honestly funny about Tommy actually inviting a Muslim to show how people can change and how not racist they are only for his fans to ruin everything.

I've heard Tommy talk enough to know his has diverse friends. His audience hating that, while claiming not to be racist, is great
