With those requirements, I'm really amazed that them and Ame managed to reach an agreement to have her be part of Hololive. As a teamate, even though she clearly enjoys singing despite not being the best at it (she did the most karaoke streams out of everyone in HoloEN), I'm quite sure performing live on a stage is the last thing she had in mind when she applied for the job.

Okayu was like that too and now she is almost everywhere in the 3D birthdays. Makes me wonder if she is still a fato cato, considering how much dancing she is doing.

Completely unrelated but are Niji still doing the thing that gave us Ponto Nei and if so do they have any current people? It seemed like a good concept so I'd hope they'd continue it and other corps maybe adopt something similar.

You've already been given the rundown but yeah. The new wave, Voltaction, debuting on the 16th are 4/5 of the remaining Gen 1 VTA members, with Kaburaki Roco still mysteriously held back despite being Gen 1's star performer.

In November 2021, they held auditions for a Gen 2. 17 members were then recruited and debuted in June 2022. Of those, one has already gone viral and gets 3K live viewers per stream but there are a few popular members.

In March 2022, they held auditions for a VTA Gen 2.5 exclusively for people with some streaming/content making experience. These people have yet to debut.

In June 2022, they held auditions for a 3rd Gen that has since closed. They have also not debuted yet and probably won't until later this year.

So, VTA is something they are actively supporting and will continue to be for the foreseeable - barring any unexpected shifts.

As an addition, there was also that Yagoo interview that Coco did.
Coco asked him about how he felt when fans say that the Holomem were killing his Idol dreams (Like cursing or saying lewd things contrary to proper idol behavior), Yagoo said something along the lines of, "As long as the members are happy, then I'm happy." which can be seen by some as not really caring too much about the whole idol thing.

That wasn't a new development exactly. Yagoo is not an idol business veteran, he doesn't really have entertainment/tv background either to my knowledge so you probably see more of his input in stuff like Hololive Alternative with their game projects.

As for Sana's graduation I feel like she was out of it almost from the start due to getting much lower subs than the rest of Council. There were many reasons starting with Susan culling her a bit harder than others (I believe she even ranted about this to FalseeyeD because he mentioned something about Vtuber from a large group reaching out to him or something like that when he was reporting on the culls). Also her brown '90 style anime model wasn't too popular, then you have thick Australian accent and lack of streaming experience. That's the "objective" debuffs but she herself decided against using her biggest talent for streaming because she didn't want to be another drawing Vtuber so she mostly played games of the type that don't bring strong numbers for most so all in all she was starting her hololive career with difficulty set to high from the start, only way she could win would be through something like regular endurance streams (she did those a few times just not enough).

RRAT time: she probably asked them about graduation already at the time of "my dog died" break. Cover said no because a member graduating so fast without some really good reason makes them look like fools, it was also a bit too close to Coco etc. so she took her 1 month break instead (it seems like holos can take a month off without any explanation) notice the timing too same day, different month.

Another interesting thing, perhaps the most juicy from the RRAT perspective is that the official statement from Cover made no mention of her health condition or really anything in particular. People speculate that her back pain had to be the reason but things like that are often mentioned in graduation announcements in fact announcement for Kagami Kira mentioned both physical and mental health problems, they also had nothing to say about her injury/recovery, all we know came from Sana herself and her genmates. Now take into account that talent is allowed to lie about themselves to protect their identity and whatnot but the company have to be very careful if they want their word to mean something, remember they even punished Towa for using them as a shield from backlash that one time. I don't say she's actually perfectly healthy but it might not a be a recent thing at all or the main reason for her semi-hiatus and eventual graduation, just the easiest one when talking about it in public.

GIGA RRAT: Staying with hololive affects her prospects as a gacha artist working with Chinese companies, she wanted to keep her identity a secret (hence no art streams) but since chinese nerds learned about almost immediately (I think her characters ended up as the most disliked in polls together with Ina's stuff as a result) she had to calculate what's more important to her and since her numbers were not exactly on Ina's level it was a rational choice. Expect her to do more genshill streams on her roommate though...

I still personally lean on the "health problem" rrat on Sana's graduation. Most likely her back's condition worsened or something, and she decided that cutting off streaming as a corpo is the wisest choice. I don't know, maybe she's going to have a surgery? Or maybe her forcing herself to finish her arts deadline actually destroyed her back even more. Who knows

In my opinion, Sana, before all her constant breaks, could have the potential to be doing decently well despite all the odds against her:

1. Above average at gaming, check out her Celeste playthrough
2. Good at shitposting, the short video she did during her debut actually convinced some of my acquaintances to call themselves Sanalites (sadly, few of them lost interest on her after her constant break)
3. Able to stream for long hours (until she hurt her back)
4. Professional artist (though this point isn't as strong since she never planned to do many art streams)

If I remember correctly, she was even the second highest SC earner in Council before her first long break.
