If she was any sort of serious journalist, she wouldn't join Rebel Media, a media conglomerate where the guy from VICE whi sticks shit up his ass on TV to own the libs and a literal Jewish caricature work. I'm not saying she hasn't done good work in outing NGOs and their schemes, but the amount of drama she has generated is so unprofessional and childish that she devalues her own work by the way she acts. I don't want to watch the serious works of someone caught up in edrama and laughing about a fat alcoholic's penis with 5 other women and now spilling the beans in a 3 hour gossip session disguised as an exposee. If she actually calmed down and did this documentary stuff instead of the trigger the libs type shit and godsiping, I would actually agree with you a lot. women that are more assertive tend to lodge themselves in male-dominant "spaces" as a way to make themselves attractive to men and they only way they can do that is by actually doing/knowing something. it used to be primarily awkward and nerdy women because they hedged their bets on competence rather than just being pretty, and pretty women would have better luck being pretty, but the whole "i am woman hear me roar" flavor of feminism paired with woke policies kind of pushes all women to be capable of butting heads with men and also being womanly. it doesn't surprise me in the least that out of all of the alt-right grifters the woman is the most competent one (as competent as grifters can be) because they have the benefit of a high bar of expectation and a low level of resistance. they're literally setting up a tee for a home run but there aren't exactly a lot of those softballs lying around. compare that to someone like milo yinnopolus who is going to get criticized for everything he does regardless of how well he does it, and yet doesn't even have to show up to an interview sober for people to pat him on the back.

i mean we're talking about grifters so none of these people are particularly excellent but you're spot on to compare it to x-play, morgan webb was the only one that actually played video games and adam was the butt of the joke, but that's how these shitty leaderless postmodern dominance hierarchies end up shaking out.

How is a high bar of expectation a benefit? That doesn’t make sense.

Milo is an awful example to use because he’s a literal fraud as had been exposed by the lawsuits with his ghostwriter. To me, stealing the grant money he fundraised from his audience that he claimed he was going to give to poor white men is the biggest grift imaginable for some right wing figure at the time. Not to mention how he blamed it on the woman that helped organise it and everyone attacked her even when she posted evidence showing she had no access to the money and it was all in Milo’s account. Milo was fairly revered in 2016, and if anything escaped a lot of critics (talking in the right only) because people found him funny. I just think that assertion about Milo is bizarre because part of his gimmick was how unprofessional he was compared to the usual conservative media.

I’m curious if you watched Lauren’s video or just commented that based on previous knowledge? Just so I can get the context for other parts of your comment which I find interesting/agree with.

I am by no means a Venti hater (she's funny as hell, maybe there's some info I don't have that explains why everyone dislikes her), but come on dude.
