I really don't get this thing where citizens of a country that just lost a twenty year war to some goat herders smugly sneer at Russia for taking less than a year to conquer a semi modern military that has massive financial and weapons support from the U.S and NATO.

And again I don't give two fucks who wins this conflict, Putin is a dictator and a twat. My main concern is we are bleeding ourselves dry for a conflict that Ukraine has no hope of winning.

Retarded framing device, what are the conditions of a "loss" when the U.S. had already been planning a pullout for at least a year ahead of time? Are you saying that the condition for winning is indefinite occupation? Did you forget it was the Trump admin that negotiated the release of Taliban inmates in the first place, and the reason the pullout was such a shitshow was because of Biden's incompetence and pushing the pullout date to 9/11? Or were you of the misconception that the Taliban had actually managed to overthrow the American occupiers who were leaving anyway?

If you didn't care about who was going to win, you wouldn't have tried pulling that crystal ball bullshit about Ukraine giving up and collapsing in the near future when they're actively destroying Russian ammunition depots in the current moment.

As @Vyse Inglebard pointed out, there are other places to sperg about the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Do it there if you don't want to discuss how the Biden administration has fucked up their handling of Russia coming after the US political elite's money laundering base.

I'm all in for any "two retards fighting" moments between Blumph and Musk, if it means that Trump's 2016 energy comes back in spades.

Trump is bringing front and center how the tech industry abuses government deals to make their 7 figure salaries without actually doing anything of actual value.
This is making me think that perhaps the reason for Elon and Trump falling out is that Trump sees the coming recession and is probably planning on finally killing all the deals of the government giving Tesla a trillion of the american budget so they can make electric cars that no one can buy, which of course means Tesla collapses overnight and Elon time in the spotlight is cut short so he can't agree to that.

Its probably more about Elon throwing support to DeSantis than the Twitter thing. Elon is a vocal DeSantis fan which Trump is probably concerned could spur DeSantis to say fuck it and run in 2024. If Elon got serious he could be a major asset for any political hopeful just on financial backing and name recognition alone.

Elon will bring some of the atheist science lovers with him and their votes count just as much as anyone elses. Big Daddy is going to need all the help he can get appealing to non-Christian whites!

2 years ago, it was a popular opinion to believe that 20 billion could end world hunger. Since then, we've funded a losing war we're not even involved in for a non-ally to the tune of about 5x the cost to end world hunger, and the anti-war/anti-imperialism activists couldn't be more satisfied.

Go look up the first reactions to Elon Musk buying Twitter for $44 billion. One of the points of outrage was that he could have ended world hunger several times over instead. Except that for someone like Elon, if he COULD have done that, he would have just to rub it in everyone's face.

Discussing crime epidemic was relevant because Biden is the one who at the end of the day wields the executive power of the DOJ, the buck stops with him.

This thread feels less comfy now that its no longer named the Biden megathread and I have concerns that if it actually does become just a US politics general thread it really will lose its purpose.

The whole reason we argued for reopening the thread after it got yeeted was so there was an easily searched easily found compilation of Biden shit without having to sift through all the articles in A&N, many of which already relate to US politics by default.

This thread has been a handy resource on more than one occasion for me to use in spergbates elsewhere with Biden supporters since y'all do post some juicy Biden blunders.
