I think the first picture is lamb rather than mutton, because mutton is (as you can see in the second picture) generally a lot darker. Not that it matters because that is terrible attempt at making burgers. Jen could have seasoned the lamb mince and made it into lamb kofta or kavurma or even just made lamb burgers properly, instead of just mushing it into vague lumps that he probably won't fry through properly :c

Also guess they're using mutton mince for burritos. I mean I guess they might have slow roasted a big leg of mutton and gone for "pulled mutton" burritos, but I don't think I've ever seen them do anything with meat besides fry it or grill it. I can't really see hastily fried mutton mince in a burrito being nice.

surprised it wasn’t sheep mac’n’cheese to be honest.

Freshly grown? Wtf?
What *did* happen to those field troons though… really.

1. Those are ravens, not vultures.
Ravens eat carrion as well, actually. So that doesn't really disprove the "dead alpaca corpses in the death tarp" theory.

The language in these tweets is really uh.. something. Doesn't sound like they give too much of a shit about their dead/dying animals - but I guess we already knew that.

A little googling shows that prolapse (uterine or anal) in sheep can be treated by a vet, I'm not sure to what degree of success. But I guess if they'd done that, the vet would ask why they're not getting any regular care for their 200+ other animals, and that might get them into hot water of the animal welfare kind. Cheaper to pay a butcher to murder a sheep that didn't have to die, I guess.

Imagine painting yourself as heroes of animal rescue, saving the world one alpaca at a time, while also publicly announcing that you kill and eat animals for having medical issues that are treatable and survivable.

Jen the Shit Eater: "I am 38 and don't have a lot of time for the niceities (sic) of NT interactions."

38 going on 41, so yeah, the math checks out. But how much credence to give "just being honest with you" when it comes from a man who vehemently claims to be a woman?

I wonder why Jen didn't accuse mango tsuki of being a pedo? It seems a missed opportunity.

If Penny works 14-16 hours a day, then why is he the one preparing food? How lazy & incompetent is Kevin? Oh, and that stove is as disgusting as always...

I also notice that four salads were being made here, which matches up with the idea that there are only four Tranchers left (Penny/Kevin/Josie/Jen). The Tranch apparently had 12 people according to this 1+ year old TikTok video (which also claimed the Tranch to be completely off-grid and soon to have complete food independence, lol). Not a good sign when you've lost that many people.
I'm actually impressed they've managed to keep the drama under wraps. Bonnie is too cowardly to do more than vaguely snipe at the Tranch once in awhile, and the field troons just seemed to vanish from the Internet without saying anything.

The amount of space 200 animals would need is insane. Used to follow a guy on SA who had a thread about his cattle ranch, he also had a few hundred heads. Miles and miles of open fields, creeks, hills. Had to check his fence line with a drone, used to do it with a helicopter. Dude's life was 12 hours a day farm shit and he had ranch hands helping. Those troon Alpaca are for sure dead. They probably haven't been fed or watered consistently or on time once and I've seen nothing about vaccinating, shearing, mineral feeds or any kind of medication, really.

Now that the land is fucked they should basically be feeding and watering the animals 24/7, it's a insane cost and effort. They're likely down to the two we saw in the picture.

I make a marinade for my lamb that it sits in the night before that includes fresh rosemary, but it just looks like he sprinkled lawn clippings on it, didn't allow it to come to room temp, proceeded to not sear it, and also overcook it. Didn't even rub the seasoning in or use a medium to ensure it'd stick to the meat. The chicken looks like it was sprinkled with used kitty litter. None of their food is ever appetizing to look at. I've watched tiktok videos of a man with downs who does an infinitely better job at seasoning/prepping meat, smoking it, and comes out with a very appealing product.

This is not how a normal person delivers this information.

The prolapse is weird but forgivable if a person works in animal husbandry. Eating your livestock is perfectly normal, but phrasing it as "she was delicious" is exceedingly creepy. But seguing one into the other is some freaky sociopath phrasing.

I really can't get over the way Jen shares how he ate the sheep. Most people who talk about eating their livestock either do so with remorse or with some form of respect for the animal dying to feed them. Others will treat it as a fact of life and not dwell on it. But I've never seen somebody act enthusiastic about it.

A normal person shouldn't be sharing this at all, actually.
They probably didn't even know the lamb was pregnant until it was bleeding out, here's to hoping they suffer the same fate with their amholes.

ETA: Turns out this is treatable with the same methods as the alpacas, they've supposedly rehabilitated in the past so should have the material available to do so. Intervening asap yields the best recovery outcome, but they probably weren't aware the lamb was even pregnant like they never are with their alpacas. No pregnancy or birth should come as a fun surprise to them. Their callousness towards any biological female no matter the species, and pride in expressing it, is deeply disturbing. Imagine being prideful that the animal you're rearing died due to your incompetence and negligence, but it's totally cool bc you ate the evidence.

You're absolutely right.
When I was looking through Penny's TikTok, this video stood out to me. Really shows what a blasted hellscape the Tranch has become.

They don't seem to eat their alpacas, and they quit trying to sell alpaca fiber awhile ago... so their herd of ~200 alpacas is just a money-pit.
Penny & Josie supposedly spend half the day doing construction work to pay the bills, which leaves Kevin (lol) and the psycho Jen to tend to the animals now that everyone else has left. I'll be surprised if even 50 alpacas are still alive at this point.

Well, once again that video only has ~20 (25 max) in it, so... probably you're about spot on with that number.

I am shocked to see the tranchers introducing vegetables into their diet, though. Salad, even! Why, they might even get a handful of nutrients out of that meal. Honestly a real surprise, I guess they've had to reevaluate their diet with all the physical work they're doing with the shit DIY projects.

What's fucked up about this video is that you can see all the other alpacas hanging around the feeding area which you can identify by all the discarded straw laying around, so you know that they're hungry.
