I don't know, maybe the guy just has some general skill at running a company even though he didn't seem to know much about the industry when starting out. Being able to find good managers and do industry research is something that transcends industries.

I recall him saying PC wasn't profitable yet in one of his interviews; I wonder if that's still the case, or if things have gone into the black since then. I could see it either way. There's no denying, though, that in terms of eyeballs and fans, PC has carved out its niche and is on the upswing, and that with the acquisition of Shiina, there's someone at PC who knows how to spot talent and scoop it up. That Phase Invaders happened makes me think there's no issues between talent and management, since I bet Pips would have told them behind-the-scenes if working for the company was not going to be a good time.

I think her "Western oriented" streams are embarrasing and she comes off like a tryhard. Well Kson's outfit certainly is leading the innovation of anime avatar jiggle physics. I thought the general issue wasn't exactly the permissions, but that for whatever clown show reason they have some dumbass stipulation that you can't stream past X point and/or endings or whatever. Which was always retarded because as has been pointed out several times, they typically have more than one ending anyway.
