General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

How much of this interview is the guy just getting in over his head and how much is him just being dead tired?
Given that by the sound of things "getting in over his head" is a decent observation of why his company failed in the first place and thus why this interview is even happening.

You could say that this interview is 100% him getting in over his head.

Yeah I see this on VT, but is it Yuri posting on VT? Because the jump to "oh they never debut and only CL knows they were orange/ who Yuri is talking about" seems a bit missing. I guess it doesn't matter other then "somebody" griefing Yuri in the past, which does not seem that uncommon according to her.
The pic itself is from very early Cyberlive teaser.

There are caps of Yuri talking about the girl never debuting in chat and how she may have sabotaged Cyberlive on her way out.

He seems to want a run a virtual casting couch?

Said he was going to open it in a year or two, but is immediately taking applications. What?
That's exactly what this is. He wants these young weeb women to apply for his "company" so he has their contact info, he'll string them along all the while grooming them into thinking he's legitimate, and he'll try to fuck them once he feels he's earned their trust.

Maybe there is something to those harassment claims. Listening to this guy has made me come to two conclusions. At best this guy is a retard with dreams of a get rich scheme and has no consideration for other people's careers. At worst, he's a predator who is trying to make money off young women while he fucks them.

It was definitely not intentional. They actually sunk a ton of R&D into the New Coke formulation to compete with Pepsi (which was eating Coke's lunch in the 70s and 80s). It was a massive corporate blunder (both in terms of cost and PR) that they just got lucky with turning around.
but that's the thing, it doesn't have to be intentional. coke was smart and quick enough to react that they came out better than going in. lot of companies can't or don't want to, it's obvious that's not what they planned.

Investigator Pippa is easily one of the best flavors of 'tism the rabbit has to offer. Her ballsiness is impressive and her strength is growing.
I think pippa is getting a bit too invested on the whole "hurting assets" thing. did any of them really come out worse in the end? especially when it was just a gig? that's like basically saying an artist have to stick with specific record labels because...?
he mentioned earlier that talent kept all their money and how he wanted to monetize it and why, also why he didn't have a plan on purpose. rabbit seems to think he wants to run another cover/niji or even PC. his thing sounds more like vshojo combining existing talent, helping them out and giving them opportunities they wouldn't have as indies on their own, then taking a cut from merch and other stuff. people have been proposing that shit often enough in this thread alone, fuck they even suggest kson do it last year when she left cover.

also, if you look back the idea wasn't really the issue, just "winging it" too much and going in it too naive. imagine he would've hooked up with someone who has a better grasp about it... imagine, just for one second, a vshojo without all the baggage and a more professional front. no one can tell me that this is a shit idea.

This guy is capable of introspection, but immediately forgets what he learned. Amazing.
5 am in europe, just saying, and the thing has been going on for almost 3 hours. pippa should end it here and maybe do another one during EU time or anything, dude sounds he's almost falling asleep which seriously affects his answers.

2 amazing collabs with Lumi which are basically them talking about a bunch of things.
wait wait wait, don't tell me there was another yabcast and I missed it

:stress:

So I haven't tuned into Pippa cause I was away and want to listen to the whole interview in its entirety. You guys are making me excited to grab the VOD later to listen.

In the mean time, I've tuned into Airi and Shiina's stream. Erina has joined them now. And this bit of info just dropped: Airi, the airheaded Pon Wolf, is apparently the defacto tech support for Gen 2 and a bit of Gen 1. Erina came on and was having a bunch of problems getting the Live2D software to start. And she went full tech support mode and walked her through it. Had a small bit afterwards talking about how she's their tech wizard.
The fact that both Mumei and FAUNA are fans of this rabbit seriously amuses me
HoloEN is saved

Fauna could be watching this very stream at this very moment!!!!!

holy fuck, even fucking /vt/ isn't as underage neet as this shit.

dude just blew 150k on a failed business and doesn't seem to broken up about it, nor is he marketing himself. I highly doubt he did it to "get rich quick" or become LE FAMOUS YAGOO MAN (he doesn't even know according to him). if he just wants to groom 2view indie vtubers all he needs to do is lurk their discords and throw money around, that's a lot easier and cheaper.
you honestly wanna tell me the way he (didn't) run his company wouldn't generate fuckloads of drama we would've heard of by now? you also didn't seem to have listened when he said THE TALENT KEEPS ALL THE MONEY. even cover isn't that generous apparently, is your conclusion yagoo wants to groom broken asian women even more?

holy shit dude, seriously...
