Its always interesting to compare Jim to Yahtzee, say what you will about Crowshaw he's genuinely quite witty and it comes across in his videos and writing which has propped up his internet career for more than 15 years, its fun to watch his stuff even he's not being particularly insightful because he'll throw in a good joke at least.

Jim seems to still think that he's causing monocles to pop out by using the word fuck and that's the extent of his instincts for comedy.

Nobody gets outraged about “crunch time” because, and this might shock Jim to learn, Video game developers aren’t the only ones with shitty jobs. Nor are they the only employees being forced to do overtime.

This is why most working class gamers don’t care that much. Most likely they are also in a similar boat.

Don’t get me wrong. Being abused by employers is shitty and should be called out, but Jim and all those video game YouTubers like him, betray how they have never had a real job, or any struggle whatsoever so they, unironically, believe people suffering at their jobs is a tragedy that only happens to game devs.

I would even give Konami a Tiny speck of respect for their collections, they are full of features and also contain a lot of games. The upcoming turtles ones is amazing.

The Castlevania Advance one was also brilliant, although I would have preferred Dawn of Sorrow over the dogshit Dracula X port. If Konami fucked off forever and just licensed their IPs out to other studios to make new games I'd be absolutely fine with that.

He's published multiple books, got writing gigs for AAA companies like Ubisoft (and still gone on to rip the game apart in ZP), and he's also made time to get married and start a family. All this while continuing to put out consistently good episodes of the show that made him Internet Famous in the first place. Add to that that he has repeatedly gone out of his way to not engage in social media or any online trashfires beyond the occasional ZP one-liner, and he really is the polar opposite of Jim in every conceivable way.

Jim's only gag is being extremely vulgar and once the initial shock value wears off you realise he's actually pretty stupid and has little to no new or interesting insight of his own. This is also why I completely agree with whoever said even if he hadn't trooned out his career was living on borrowed time.

Can't say I agree with Lamooshka on this one, Jim was definitely one of gods mistakes.

As @Korpon mentioned already, I've made a post going over why Jim is a Godless Man personified. So instead, let me give you a not-so-fun fact: Christians are the single most persecuted group on the planet. As much as 85% of the world's persecutions happen to Christians from traditionally non-Christian countries. Some examples I've read include but are certainly not limited to:

• African States (especially Nigeria) failing to stop the butchering and shooting of Christians (It's almost a monthly story these days)
• China actively rewriting the bible to fall in line with CCP values, removing crosses from churches, and punishing those who preach non-CCP-approved versions of the Bible.
• India's police force turned a blind eye to the many violent acts committed against Christians for not following the traditional beliefs of the nation.
• Canada making public prayer a finable offense (unlike America, Canada doesn't have a Constitution of any kind to give its citizens the right to free speech or expression).
• Pakistan has sentenced quite a few people to death because Blastphamy is illegal.

I won't bore you with all of them, because the point is that a group of people who face what Jim fears around the globe daily get no empathy from him because they don't affirm his lifestyle. At the end of the day, Jim's open hatred of Christians (and strictly Christians. He never complains about Islamics or Buddhists) shows that he is a self-righteous bully who is incapable of respecting any lifestyle that's not his own. And it's incredibly sad that someone saying "you weren't born incorrectly, you were born perfectly" is offensive to him. Jim will never face the persecution he (let's be honest) fantasizes about facing because no governing body that actually wants to limit/remove the trans population would let them access the internet so easily.

Jim in particular may have to put up with online harassment because he's kind of a public figure, but it's telling the he thinks it's true for "we" trans' people.

For one, some simply pass by virtue of actually trying - though there's definitely genetic lottery involved - and even if they don't, they can just...not advertise it online.

There's an entire survivability onion of not getting harassed for being trans' but Jim cannot enter it because he has to make it his entire personality.
