Likely he's on Donepezil combined with an SSRI and a psychostimulant like Adderall.

These will provide periods of relative clarity and a degree of coherence so they'll be carefully timed.

He's spends 3 days per week in Vermont, naps during the afternoon and is in bed before 9PM. Rest and sleep are incredibly important in managing these types of illnesses.

The problem is that dementia is a progressive disease and the drugs show less and less efficacy over time. Likely they were hoping they could manage it and he'd go into some degree of remission, which can happen with vascular dementia as long as treatment is optimized, management of blood pressure, diet and again lots of rest. But it's obvious that his condition is worsening and rapidly. He's showing increasing signs of loss of neuromuscular control, shuffled gait and falling over. His memory is getting worse. I wouldn't be surprised if he's starting to suffer visual and auditory hallucinations. It's not just that he has dementia, I don't think anyone is denying that at this point, it's that his dementia is advanced.

A literal potato is the nominal leader of the free world. Not only won't he be running in 2024 he may end up being a total non verbal vegetable in 18 months. What then? What's the plan?

Said here in the past, watched my mother go end-of-life with severe dementia earlier this year. The stage 4 onset was extremely rapid and she passed in less than 6 months after that. The drugs can't stave this off, only offer some immediate clarity. You are correct, she did have hallucinations and had no sense of where she actually was near the end. Oddly enough, she thought she was at work (she was a government employee for years).

What then? What's the plan? That right there is the million dollar question, friend. It's the elephant in the room that everybody is pretending isn't there. I mean, only now are the media and even the Dems themselves even acknowledging that Joe may be unfit for office (newsflash - he was unfit to be elected in the 1st place, but I'm preaching to the choir here). That leads me to believe there is NO PLAN at all. Everything seems to be in freefall at the moment. When the inevitable mushbrain becomes reality, we get Kamala, like it or not. So we end up with absolute incompetence versus a dementia-riddled potato. I honestly don't know which is worse.

And yes, like so many of you, I want off this ride because I can't help but feel I'm going to be a fat black teenage kid that plunges a couple hundred feet and splats on the concrete below.

Honestly, at this point I am not sure what's worse, a hypothetical globalist plot out to ruin everyone's lives or the sheer incompetency of the powers that be that also ends up ruining everyone's lives. Grand plans to restructure the world order or human stupidity aside, the end result is the same.

In the long-term the Republican Party is currently fighting a battle it cannot win unless it changes some stances. If you take time to look at European history you will see that they spend 1000 s of years fighting eachother, not only that they didnt even exist as the people they are now. The whole idea of nationalism having a state thats made of people who share a langauged culture and history is only a few hundred years old before that you had the nobles of europe fighting over territory and the people in those territory related to who their feudal lords were not with eachother.

Years ago I went to japan and it was weird to see certain neighborhoods, I mean the older places. Basically you could see how their was flood of money into the country their economic boom, then bubble then bust.

two years ago I was in vietnam and its currently soaking up alot of fucking money. Basically alot of work in china is moving there now. To the point you have chinese people sneaking across the boarder for work.

They are having their own version of the subprime crisis right now. Basically because chinese people had very limited places to invest money they would put them into housing, that no one lives in. (I ve also seen this in Japan, Vietnam, and USA)

The builders kept building people keep buying and as developers go bankrupt, it seems local banks do not have the funds to cover deposits.

So if I were the CCP I would worry about all the common people who are going to see the grow in their standard of living stop or even retract. lol.

Also China's done deals to buy farm land in africa and other places for the most part its a scam to get money out of china. Remember you might get purdge next month collect all the bribes you can and then bail for canada with the bribe money.

So what did the Bush era Republicans do about it? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
