However, their relationship is apparently important enough to her that she wants him to meet her family, and she was genuinely upset with him when he flaked on his commitment with her mom and brother. The fact that she was both surprised and disappointed by this (extremely predictable) behavior from him is telling. Deedee might seem smart in comparison to Nader and Chantal, but if she truly believes that Nader loves her, she might be the most delusional member of the entire cast.
