At least she will keep streaming on yt.
as she said in her stream, twitch for english, youtube (with gunpla) for nip. think she also said 3? times per week at least, but might remember that wrong and can't remember in which ratio etc.
besides, it would surprise me if she dropped youtube completely given that was her main platform so far and would mean crapping on the people that supported her in the meantime. kinda like the sora/niconico-deal (no membership on yt, and then pretty cheap, since she didn't want her fans on nnd to have to sub twice. she's just too wholesome for this world)
I cant help but shake the feeling that we are going to experience something that is going to really shake up the vtuber industry sometime in the next few months or so. There is lots of small pieces being moved around from the various corporations and put in place like Kson/Nazuna in Vshojo, Holostars EN finally happening, probably Holo EN3 later this year, etc etc you get the idea.
I'm talking like Coco graduation tier where there was nearly half a million people watching. Maybe I am going actually insane as of recent, you could argue Not-Rushia being in Vshojo is pretty huge thing this year and you would be right... But there still 5 months of 2022.
Calling it now, we have seen nothing yet.
it could be interesting since ksons's (imo) best content was something she couldn't really do as an indie. now that she has some of the equipment again and a bigger "official" support network, we might see a return to form. not saying we gonna see coco 2.0, but there's a reason she was and still is as popular as she is.
now if you add the possibility of them catching some other big fishes... imagine for a second: live3d with not!coco and not!gibara. shit like that would've been unthinkable before.
as I told you niggas, an agency with more freedom (to a degree of course) can be quite attractive compared to being indie or under a corporate umbrella.
however I assume the biggest shakeups (if any) happen behind the scenes and mostly in nipland. don't think vshojo will suddenly make it big to threaten cover/anycoler, but if this thing works out and proves that organization model can work, and work well, see more of it spring up, which would severely shorten the gap between indies and corpos. it's really not different than what happens in other industries when the established big players become stagnant and too slow to react (not saying cover/anycolor
are, but the management issues are more or less a constant topic).
