It's been a while since I read about this, but I believe the appeal was over the application of the anti-SLAPP law. The appellate court wouldn't be deciding anything to do with claimed damages.

My guess is that as long as she's got Boruto then they're probably still going to keep her around for now unless she does something again to specifically piss off the Sabat clique or the wokesters in a huge way.

She's anti-woke but she is a black woman so she's a bit harder to cancel solely via Twitter mob.

Plus, Miller is more involved with Viz than Funi/Crunchyroll and while the two practically overlap and are de facto in league with one another, I'm going to assume Sabat has less overt influence at Viz so Miller is safe for now.

I usually don't like dubs, but I have a soft spot in my heart for the Full Metal Alchemist dub. I'll make an exception for Vic. He also voiced my boy Rohan Kishibe from Jojo's, he captures unhinged just right.

I saw Vic at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off.

When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Young was meant for db kai but she didn't like the script being too fast paced compared to the original run.

I hope this new studio gives new talent a chance. I am so sick of these veteran voice actors thinking they have absolute control of the industry and voicing fucking everything. Here is hoping Vic's new studio becomes a breathe of fresh air.

Right now it will be veteran heavy because it's a new studio & new vas are going to be cautious. It's up to the fans to support these projects so they could get more licenses.
